Me, my son, mother, and stepdad stayed at the Embassy Suites, SE Denver Thanksgiving week. Sorry it's taken me this long to give my review. Arrived at the airport at 8am, and then at the hotel by 9am and they already had our room ready which is already a great plus for me. Alot of remodeling going on at this hotel and should be about complete by now. Rooms were outdated but was told not for long. They were clean and maid service did well everyday. Free daily breakfast buffet was really great. Alot to choose from. Every evening the free drinks and snacks were also very nice. All the alcoholic and non alcoholic you want complimentary made it a very nice value after the long drive from the ski slopes daily. There was also plenty of room in our basic one bedroom suite for all 4 of us to spread out. Also washer and dryer on our floor we used and an indoor pool and jacuzzi made my son very happy, especially with it freezing outside. When we were at the hotel and he was not swimming or drinking virgin daquiris, he was on the free computers with free internet downstairs or I'd rent him a game or movie on the tv in our room at a reasonable rate. I'd definitely stay again, especially once all the remodeling is done.

I stayed for 5 days at this Embassy Suites and really loved it. The room was clean and spacious. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast offered an outstanding selection. It was better than most expensive breakfast buffets. I loved the ambience of the common areas, somewhat like New Orleans with wrought iron railings and a fountain. Great place. I would gladly stay there again.

  • Liked — spacious room and great breakfasts
  • Disliked — needs to have tea other than just TAZO
  • Tips/Secrets: — The Lumiere Spa is next door and is really nice.

Normally we have luck at the Embassy Suites but this one was really bad. First of all we requested a month ago to have adjoining rooms with our friends and they said no problem. When we got there they put us on the same floor but complete opposite sides and said that the adjoining was no guarentee. Also they put us on the top floor and the air conditioning didn't work up there. Our friends had a travel thermometer and it said it was 85˚ in the room and so we left the door open and it didn't cool down until 10 pm to only 79˚. Many people on the floor had their doors open. So we called maintence and they said they were going to send someone right up. We waited and waited and called again and said he is going around to room to room. Well he didn't show up at either of our rooms so we hunted him down and he said he had no intension to come up because they know the problem is that they put a new roof on and the air conditioner can not keep up with the higher floors. Well they shouldn't give those rooms out in my opinion. So no one slept well. The pool was cold but actually felt good since we were sweating in the room. You couldn't see the bottom of the pool which was a little scarry. The breakfast and manager special was really good so that was the one good thing. We went to complain the next day and they were only going to say sorry then we persisted and then they were only going to take $30 off and kept at it and they gave a full refund for both rooms. It took a lot of complaining but I think at $125 you should be able to stay cool and sleep well.

This hotel has a great staff and great location. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but its clean and the amenities make up for it. They are planning a renovation, soon, but its still well worth the price.

Embassy Suites, You Should Do Better Than This! Cloudy pool, dirty room, dirty sheets, glasses had hairs in them, a booger was smeared on the bathroom door, ants were walking around the bathroom, dead bug on bathroom floor, air conditioner not working correctly, smelly room. Nice breakfast, good sized room, but OVERPRICED.
