We stayed here for a weekend in April. The housekeeping staff were really friendly. The hotel room is very nice. Comfy bed. Breakfasts were outstanding (the cook makes a mean omelet). In the evenings we had a complimentary cocktail hour down in the bar with free veggies and snacks. The fitness room is great, as was the pool. We had only one negative experience. Just as we were checking out on Sunday afternoon, en masse (we were a large group of over 150) wheeling fully-loaded luggage carts and trying to balance boxes etc., a young man started shampooing the lobby rug, causing bulky hosing to be sprawled all across the floor near the doors. You simply could not get the luggage carts over the hoses without having things spill. The two people behind the lobby desk watched and did nothing but talk between themselves as people's luggage was spilling over repeatedly right in front of them. One guest said , very loudly, "Gee do you think you could do the rug after we all leave, since we did fill up your hotel for the weekend?" Still, the desk staff did nothing. It was almost funny to watch people get off the elevators and be confronted with this obstacle course in front the doorway. Otherwise, the weekend was great.
