“An Average Embassy.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

A little older Embassy Suites. The room was clean and a suite like all Embassy Suites. They have a managers reception in the evening. The breakfast is always a great start to the day.
$136.00 was a OK rate. The workout room has nice machines.

We were very impressed with our recent stay at the Embassy Suites Dever-Southeast. We were impressed with the rooms. Traveling with young children made it important that there wasn't a ton of sound pouring in from outside the room. With the bedroom door shut, we could not hear any noise in the hall way. It also made it nice that we could put the kids to sleep and enjoy a few moments alone in the living area. This was all at the price, or lower, than other hotel rooms. The complementary breakfast was good, although it would have been nice to have a few more fruit choices. If we were in the area again, this would definitely be the top contender for where we would stay.

This hotel was very clean, friendly and centrally located. We love to stay at Embassy Suites for the wonderful amenities. We enjoy the breakfast and manager's reception. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool or exercise rooms this time. The only downside was that the elevators took quite awhile, as one was under repair and there were several large groups staying at the hotel over the weekend.

This is very good for families, with the free breakfast and the indoor swimming pool. Furnishings are somewhat dated but everything is very clean and staff are super helpful. Location is good, with numerous restaurants nearby and Whole Foods and a movie theater just across the street.

Like almost all Embassy Suites, this one is also outdated. Even had an old fashioned tube TV - where can you find this? Maybe in hotel 7! A/c rattled, had to turn it off. Otherwise large rooms, real suites.
Breakfast is very good, but if you are in hurry, you are out of luck. Since they don't have a hot buffet, you have to stand online to order your eggs.

Dear Michael K,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay at our hotel. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and we’re very sorry you were unhappy with our suites and TV’s. We will take your comments under consideration as we continually work to improve our guest experience. I also apologize that you were unhappy at breakfast. We offer a multitude of items that you do not have to wait for including oatmeal, fruit, muffins, toast, beverages, etc. In our experience, most guests appreciate fresh cooked food and that is why we only provide a buffet if the Occupancy indicates that the wait time for hot fresh food exceeds 10 minutes. We also believe that this significantly cuts into the amount of wasted or not eaten food. Thank you again for your comments and we hope you will consider staying with us in the future.

The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel was beautiful and the food was great. The complimentary breakfast and managers session were a real treat. You actually get cooked food for the breakfast. I had a great time.
