The sevrice is the worst in any hotel I have stayed in and I travel alot. The head of security is very rude and don't leave anything of value in your room. Things go missing.

The location is great but when you have a problem with things walking out of your room the security team looks the other way.

Do not stay in the Comfort Inn!!

I stayed at the Comfort Inn downtown over NYE and I have to say it was terrible, the 2BR suite was nice though. The problem lies with the service and treatment by certain managers/directors. The first manager we talked to said it was ok for the five of us to bring in two six packs. Then security came up to us and said it was illegal and they would have their liqup license revoked, which is a lie. Then he watched me leave and followed me outside. Not a big deal. When we came back at 6pm, myself and the married couple with me got approached by the director of security who lifted our bag and asked to see what was inside. We told him it was two bottles of champagne and some homemade kaluha. He then said it is illegal to bring outside alcohol into a hotel, another lie. So we kept the bag behind the front desk and went out for the new years. Just to find out that they went through the entire bag, plus stole a $40 bottle of champage. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

The BROWN PALACE IS MUCH NICER and IN THE SAME LOCATION!!

  • Liked — The Bow Window and Bar we could not bring liquor into drink on
  • Disliked — Service and Management
  • Tips/Secrets: — DO NOT GO HERE!! STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!

Denver was the place we arrived in september. We stayed two nights in de Comfort Inn Downtown. The best thing of the hotel is its location, in the center of the city. You can visit all the best things in downtown by foot (and downtown Denver is not large). The hotel itself is average but adequate. It looks grey on the ouside, but the rooms are OK. Roomservice was good and the staff is friendly enough. And last but not least, the price is below 100 dollars.
Note: the best thing in Denver was the Museum of Nature and Science. A must see !

We stayed at this hotel in the end of Sept (4 adults one child). The location was great...close to downtown attractions, but was hard to get to from the highway. It was "dated" but the hotel staff was very nice and very helpful. The free breakfast was GREAT. It had something for everyone.

Here's the one thing i didn't like: the price.
WE GOT A GREAT DEAL BY PRICE MATCHING ONLINE AT THE HOTELS WEBSITE (115 A NIGHT FOR THE ONE BED SUITE.) The room was small, and the pull out sofa ( the other bed) was horrible.

This rooms normal rate is 275!!!!!! I would have never stayed here if i got that rate. TIP: go the the hotels web site. They hava a e-choice price match. Go to any other "travel booking" web site and find the same style room for cheaper. They will match it and beat it by ten precent. FYI

Nice clean hotel has wrap around windows which was somewhat unique. The room is small but not tiny. We had a King size bed which did take up some room. The bathroom was clean and the sink in the bathroom was short even for someone like me who is 5'2". The room did have a coffee maker and a hair dryer. The hotel is older but it appears that they have taken good care of it. The hotel is located one block from 16th Street Mall; an easy, convenient quick walk. It has Hard Rock Cafe, ESPNZone, Johnny Rockets and Starbucks to name a few. Everyone on the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They serve a mini breakfast in the morning with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, pancakes (a little dry on the edges), bagels, muffins, juice and coffee. I did miss not having the USA Today at my door as in most higher end hotels. The hotel offers a 15% discount on your meal at the Brown Palace across the street. Be prepared to pay a hefty price for the food although it was very good. Parking is either valet or on your own. Valet is $17 a day not including all the tips you have to give.
