I booked this hotel on Priceline for a steal (over 50% off of regular room rates) for a few friends and myself. The hotel was in a great location near the 16th Street Mall, Union Station (Amtrak), and a short cab rides away from Coors Field (Colorado Rockies Baseball). In addition to the great location I was also very impressed with the entire staff at the hotel. They seemed very friendly and ready to go out of their way to help us. For starters my friend has a fear of small places and will not ride in elevators, so we very much needed a low floor room, so that she would not need to hike up too many flights of stairs. They were able to get us a room on the second floor of the main building. They were also very quick to bring us up extras towels and to help with our luggage. The rooms were a fairly nice size and had a nice desk with a comfy office chair. In addition the bed were great and I had a great nights sleep. Only things that I really did not care for was the overpriced items listed on their room service menu, so needless to say I did not order anything from it. Also our view of the 1st floor roof was nothing to write home about. I would differently stay at this hotel in future given that I am able to a great rate through Hotwire or Priceline, but would not pay the properties published room rates.

Location is good bec its right by 16th st pedestrian mall. I already read the reviews but had to stay here bec of a group meeting. Rooms needs an update (theres a spare sink beside the bed, practical but...) also a long line in the reception area for a big hotel they dont have enough people in front. There are 2 towers and they placed some of our group in the other tower (and they promised we'll be in the same floor). Parking is expensive ($23 for valet, just park across the street for public parking). Its a good hotel for big convention groups but for a family its better to stay at the Residence Inn City center, we moved there after 3 days and its a BIG difference! Residence Inn is 2 blocks away from 16th street but a LOT better in amenities and cleanliness.

We booked our trip through Hotwire and got a couple of rooms for a great price for 3 1/2 stars, greater DT area. The hotel is worn a bit, and I probably wouldn't have paid regular price or booked for a special weekend, but it is definitely a step above a Holiday Inn or Super8, etc.

We had 7 travelers and were in town for a big music festival, so we basically needed somewhere to sleep/take showers. For these purposes, this hotel was great. The 16th St Mall location is amazing. We are all 28-34 years old, and we just loved the bars and restaurants, not to mention the shopping all within walking distance. Take advantage of the free 16th St Shuttle that runs up and down the mall.

Annual gathering of our group, over 2000 attended but could have held many many more. Huge property, main hotel and tower connected by walkway or cross street. Lots of walking, escalators, elevators. Does not look like a luxury property except lobby and entry very nice. Our room on 5th floor very satisfactory, comfortable king bed, small bathroom, coffee, everything in working order. Decor pleasing but not memorable. Hallways wide and bright with new-looking patterned carpeting. Outdoor pool and some fitness equip on this floor.. View of distant mountains from a room on 11th floor (but not from ours ). Did not try their restaurants (rather expensive Bravo on ground floor; menu looked good.) Food at our banquet and a breakfast good but not great, service excellent.. A very well located large city convention hotel that showed a bit of use in rooms but we encountered no real problems or complaints. Will be the August site of the Democratic convention.
Free bus at every corner of the adjacent mall, lots of restaurants. Few blocks walk from state capitol building and parks. We used SuperShuttle to/from airport satisfactorily.
