Staff is friendly and helpful, lobby is nice and appears newly renovated, our room looked like it had had recently been renovated, expect for the stains on the carpet, the dirt on bathroom floor (obviously not mopped recently) the stained comforters and the cigarette burns on the other comforter. The hall carpet was stained and wrinkled, it looked like a mess.

We had a non smoking room on the non smoking 6th floor and the smell of smoke was nearly constant. The staff thought it was drifting up from the 5th floor but when we got home my daughter's pillow and blanket still smelled like smoke so I think it's lightly enforced.

I got the impression the hotel was near a hospital and much of their business is from people visiting. If that is your situation, the staff more than makes up for the rooms, if it's not, try somewhere else.

My wife and I stayed here on the last 3 days of our honeymoon. The location was great, convenient drive to all of Denver's attractions. The front desk staff never quite knew the answers to my questions and concerns, though they sure called around to other staff until they did! Our tiny original room was at the end of the hall with a ice machine right outside our door in a niche up against our wall, and directly below us was a full service car wash that is attached to the hotel. Having arrived late at night these annoyances didn't make themselves known until early the next morning when every softball team that was staying in the hotel needed to fill their coolers and the car wash started up. Needless to say we couldn't sleep in. Then we tried to access the internet on our laptop, but the connection wasn't working. 1 1/2 hours later after several calls to the front desk, a returned call to tech support and finally their maintenance man letting us know the wiring was bad in the room, we finally got switched to a different room, what they called a suite. It was just a larger version of the old room but it was sufficient. We paid $60 a night through priceline and thought we had a good deal but I wouldn't stay there again.

I was very impressed. I had mixed expectations based on other ratings. The staff was friendly, and the room was great. Rooms are newly renovated with granite vanities and upscale furnishing. Free hardwired Ethernet access guaranteed high speed internet without having to worry about your room being in a dead area. The location is great, a short drive from downtown, the medical center, and Cherry Creek Mall. There are many inexpensive restaurants close by too. The parking garage is great, and the garage elevator accesses the guest floors, so navigating luggage ws easy. A flawless experience overall.

I flew to Denver for an interview and chose this hotel for its proximity to the meeting. It was about a 25-30 minute drive from the airport (I arrived at night, so I'm not sure what the rush hour traffic might have added to the travel time). I was a little surprised that the first thing from the front desk clerk's mouth was "Are you going to be going across the street?" I didn't know what she meant, so I asked. She was referring to the "gentleman's club", and said that they had 1/2 price coupons for it. I just found that an odd thing to ask a guest in a hotel of this kind. It made me wonder what I was in for. My room was on the executive level and had a nice view. It had coffee, but no coffeemaker. This floor was quiet and the room was comfortable. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and easy to reach downtown by cab or rental car. There is a Thrifty car rental located onsite. I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and helped me with any questions I had promptly.
