I spent 4 nights in this hotel in November and it was a really great experience.

The floor buttons on the elevator can only be operated with your room key and while this was slightly difficult with shopping bags and leftovers, it was a pleasant security bonus.

The staff was amazing!! They went out of their way to be helpful, give ideas on places to eat, and they were fantastic.

The rooms were comfy, the pool and exercise room is wonderful. I didn't try the restaurant, but it didn't seem to extravagent.

The hotel is within walking distance to Cherry Creek Mall (carrying the bags back makes it unwieldy but the atmosphere is so pleasant). There is a Super Target across the street, and some fast food places near by.

My only gripe is that it's directly across from a strip bar which made it uncomfortable to walk through on the way to Target. Otherwise,
the area is well lit, and I felt very safe.

I would definitely stay here again, but the Super Shuttle driver scared the heck out of me on the way here. Next time, I'd spend the extra and take a taxi!

My husband, 2 1/2 year old daughter, and 3 mo. old son stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The room was very nice & clean, but we overlooked a strip joint and adult store in the SuperTarget parking lot. The hotel itself was beautiful and well-kept. It was about 10 minutes to downtown Denver and the 16th Street mall (a great place to go for food, shopping, and hanging out if the weather's okay. Be sure to check out Rio Grande's awesome margaritas and fajitas!) Since we booked through Hotwire, the breakfast buffet was not included, but they gave us 2 tickets anyways. Kids eat free. The breakfast was fantastic! An omlette station, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juices, cereal, you name it...it was great!
The parking, however, was terrible! They had a parking ramp that was terribly designed, leaving barely enough room for midsized vehicles to park. If you have a larger vehicle, try the top level of the ramp, behind the hotel.
Make sure you carry your hotel key with you at all times. It's required to use the elevators - very confusing at first, but it works well for security.

The hotel is a straight shot to/from the airport, but if you're not familiar with Denver, it's very difficult to find the hotel coming from downtown. The trip defeated even my GPS!
The parking lot is an absolute disaster. Unless you're driving a sub-compact, don't go near it. The posts are close together and the parking spaces are impossibly small. I scraped the fender of my rental car, and I'm a very careful driver.
Check-in went well, and my Priority Club Gold status led to a nice upgrade, a welcome pack of snacks, and a free happy hour. The room was fine with upgraded amenities.
I stayed at this hotel because of an excellent rate on the Priority Club website, but in the future I would spring for a higher rate and stay closer to downtown.

We spent a transition night in this Holiday Inn and couldn't have been more pleased. The room was very nice, reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel maintenance man helped up with mapping out a run and bike ride for the family. The waitress at dinner gave us great tips on where to take the kids the next day. It was just a warm and friendly experience.

The rooms have great beds, great air conditioning, and are very clean. For the price, it was wonderful.

This hotel, which was fairly expensive and was advertised as a "premier hotel," was full of problems. The worst problem was the lack of parking for guests. There was a convention going on while we were there, and every night when we returned, there was no parking. We had to park in some office park around the corner (hard to find) and walk in the dark (with two tired children) quite a distance to the hotel. This was not accepable at all, and the staff barely appologized. We had two rooms: one had a terrible odor, the other had mold on the ceiling by the a.c.vent. Rugs were soilded, coffee pot broken. Breakfast in the restaurant was inordinately expensive, requiring guests to order the whole buffet, and not order more economical a la carte items. Difficult with children. Although the location was good for us, and I guess I could say it was Okay, I would not stay there again. With children, I would much rather pay less for an "acceptable" hotel, have breakfast included, and parking guaranteed.
