This Bed & Breakfast gives you 5-star treatment. My husband and I loved the decorations and the feel of "home away from home" atmosphere. The staff was very warm and welcoming and the breakfasts were amazing! We were able to skip lunch because the breakfasts were so filling! We also loved the fabulous bed and bedding. It was luxurious and perfect for the rest and relaxation we were looking for. Thank you for offering such wonderful service and a quaint but modern feel. We definitely plan on coming back and enjoyed celebrating our 2nd anniversary at the Gregory Inn. We highly recommend it!!

This was our first weekend away together without our daughter, and we were really looking forward to this time together. Right when we walked in, we knew this was the right place. Our host was welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. We stayed in Michael’s room, which was wonderful. From the DVD/CD player, projection TV (which can be hidden if you don’t want to look at it), huge jetted tub, fireplace, wine glasses, and the incredibly comfortable bed – this was the perfect sanctuary for us. When we went out early for breakfast in the morning, the coffee was already made and the fire was going in the cheerful sitting room which had a sky light. The chef came out right away and brought us juice while we relaxed and read the paper. The breakfast was delicious (eggs Benedict). All and all, it was a wonderful experience and a much needed get-away for us. We would definitely come here again

Worst B&B I've ever stayed at - had to file dispute with owner!

I recently stayed at The Gregory Inn LoDo for what was supposed to have been two nights. The problems began immediately upon checking in. First, I booked the room online and there was no mention that the room I was booking (Lori's room) was on the main floor with an exterior entry to the porch. As a woman traveling alone, this is important information. Secondly, having read some other not so good reviews about the inn, I knew the noise in the rooms above me would bother me. What I did not know and what you don't see on the web site is the fact that the stair case leading to the breakfast room upstairs is right on the other side of Lori's headboard. I told the inn keeper (not the owner because apparently he does not greet his guests or talk to his guests during their stay) about these issues immediately. I was offered a room the next night for a higher price. I declined and said I would see how the first night went. So, here's where it gets worse. I returned to my room from the Rockies game at around midnight and was in bed by 12:30 am. Just as I was dozing off, I started to hear the person in the room above me. They took a bath and started the jet tub at 1:30 am...then I listened to the tub draining at 2 am. After finally getting to sleep at around 2:30 am, I was awakened by someone running up and down the stair case at around 5:15 am (I believe this was the chef prepping and delivering breakfast) , then again at around 6 am, and 7 am. I finally got up at 7:15 am and decided to shower before breakfast. Well, the shower head was broken and water sprayed everywhere, so I started the day by mopping up the bathroom floor. My first stop was to tell the inn keeper that things were worse than I expected; she promptly refunded the full night's stay for the second night. I then went upstairs to breakfast for a rather mediocre breakfast of waffles and an egg. I was gone by 9:15 am and then had to go in search of another place to stay for the night. Upon returning home, I checked my credit card account only to find that the full refund for the second night wasn't there. The owner, whom I never met while I was there, decided to charge me a 10% cancellation fee. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company as I have the signed receipt for the full amount. I've stayed at many B&Bs over the years and can honestly say that this place has the been the worst experience ever. Given the area surrounding the inn, the room noise, and management problems, I regret not staying at a standard hotel chain in Denver.

This was a Worst experience for all involved. To avoid such an experience: 1. Don't expect your room to be located on the second floor if it is not listed as a second floor room on our website; 2. Don't expect our least expensive room to have all the same amenities as our most expensive rooms; 3. Don't expect us to destroy all paperwork of your reservation upon arrival, as name and address is required by law; 4. Don't expect your handheld shower not to drain out when turned off and placed on the edge of the tub; and 5. Don't expect complete quiet in the Inn on the same night the Rockies win the playoffs, are headed for the World Series, and the game is over near midnight (or on New Years Eve, either). Even though we've never, ever, had a complaint about the stairs from Lori's room, we have advised our chef to use the stairs more gingerly early in the morning. And finally, before you check the box on our website that states you understand our cancellation policy, please read the cancellation policy. We have the highest return rate of any lodging establishment in Colorado, not just because we have the nicest, most comfortable rooms, but because we also have the most welcoming and friendly staff. We only ask you to enjoy.

I had a very nice two night stay at the Gregory Inn. White the Inn is in Denver, it is located in a somewhat downtrodden area, just a few blocks from Coors Field. It is extremely cozy and the few employees I met were gracious, friendly and quite welcoming. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and the furnishings were wonderful. I was traveling by myself, so with a spouse or partner, I would imagine very romantic.

The room is furnished with a very large projection screen tv. This was a nice change, until the first night, I went to turn the tv off. I got the picture to go off but the sound would not. After 30 minutes, the sound was still going. This was at midnight, so their was no staff to call to assist. I slept through the tv sound on. Kind of annoying. Reading the comments of some of the previous guests, the staff should be aware that this is an issue and have more visible instructions.

I would stay here again. It was a bit quiet for a business trip but very nice and recommended. Sadly, I did not have a chance to have breakfast either morning.

It's really regretable our guest didn't understand that there is always 24 hour staff to solve problems such as this one with the TV sound. If only he had called the front desk from his room, "0" on the phone, we could have immediately resolved his problem. In this case he had closed drapery over the remote sensor, but the projector on the ceiling could still receive commands. We try to provide guests with upscale TV, DVD, and music technology which regrettably requires a sopisticated touchscreen remote control. We understand it is different from home and have searched everything available to provide the simplest, most user friendly, remote control. Our options are to provide TV in a box with limited channel selection, like most all B&Bs and hotels, or choices between large screen cable TV with HBO and over 300 channels, DVD movies, House Music or personal CD players. We also explain to each guest upon arriving in room the two touch on, two touch off remote control.....and how to reach the front desk after hours if any problem is encountered. There is lots of soundproofing between rooms, nonetheless, the front desk has complete control over guest room sound from adjoining rooms....but guests must inform the front desk if any disturbance keeps them from a comfortable sleep.

My husband and I recently spent a week at The Gregory Inn while he attended the CEDIA convention in Denver. Our room (Joan's room) was exactly as pictured on the website. Warm colours, a magnificent 4 post feather bed requiring a step-stool to get into, comfy chairs, fireplace, a spotlessly clean bathroom with jacuzzi tub and lovely sitting porch outside. A charming and romantic room.
Stephen, the proprietor, was gracious and welcoming, recommending several good restaurants, and always happy to be of assistance. The morning breakfasts were a real delight! Eggs Benedict, fresh fruit with waffles and hot syrup, yummy omelets were just a few of the offerings. Great coffee, too!
Really loved the retreat from the busy days at the convention center, and only a short $6 cab ride away! Highly recommend for business or pleasure!
