“Simply perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2010

After a long trip through Montana, Wyoming and Colorado, my husband and I decided to spend our last night in the US in a romantic location.
Capitol Hill was really better than our (high) expectations!
Rooms are really well furnished, very elegant without being "cold" as some de-luxe hotel rooms can be. The house itself is a treasure, in a great location at walking distance from Downtown Denver, in a very quite and elegant neighbourhood.

The hosts are really nice and polite, and they always find time to have a chat with their guests.

But maybe the most fantastic thing is breakfast, served in the garden at wonderfully set tables. Carl prepared for us hot waffles... one of the best breakfast ever! We also found very nice the social side of the breakfast, sitting together with other guests and exchanging experiences and trip ideas.

If we are back to Denver, Capitol Inn Mansion will be our place, definitely!

“Beautiful place with great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2010

We loved our stay at the Capitol Hill. It's in a great location on a street of beautiful houses within walking distance of the entertainment district in Denver. Carl recommended a wonderful restaurant five blocks away for dinner. Eric's breakfast of blueberry pancakes and peach bread pudding was served on a gorgeous little patio.

“Perfect location and gracious hosts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2010

Besides being a beautiful historic home, the Capitol Mansion is very well located. It's a short walk to the Molly Brown House or the Kirkland Museum and it's near the Botanic Gardens and the Art Museum. Breakfasts were on the garden terrace with plenty of coffee and fresh fruit along with the daily specials. Carl and Bailey were welcoming and helpful.

“Lovely, Grand, Wonderful......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2010

I had the utmost pleasure of staying at this lovely, grand historic B&B in downtown Denver. Carl and Bailey are extremely gracious and caring host; the meals are artfully created and served by the chief with understated pride. The feeling of family in a warm and welcoming setting made my stay most memorable. You are in walking distance to all of what Denver has to offer: museums, performing arts, unique restaurants and night life. It is an oasis amidst a vibrant city, like walking back in time with all the modern amenities required. It will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

“A must-stay experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2010

Capitol Hill Mansion in Denver is one of those hotel experiences you cannot forget.

We have finished our 18 days trip in the Rockies with this special place in Denver.
this biautiful home is a short walk from the State Capitol, shops, restaurants and places of interests.

First of all, your hosts Carl and Bailey are truly and sincerely dedicated to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as you could have imagined.

Capitol Hill Mansion is a very charismatic place. take some time to enjoy the architecture of it. it is also biautifully illuminated at night.
Carl and Bailey make every effort to make this home express its personnality, inside and outside.

each room has also a different personnality, with a high standard of comfort and aesthetic.
also take some time to sit and relax in the living-room with a glass of wine in the late afternoon.

in the morning, you will be treated to an incredible gourmet breakfast.

Capitol Hill Mansion is also very reasonnably priced.

tip: for dinner a 15mn walk will take you to a very good Cuban restaurant.
