“Great choice close to the Denver Airport.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2011

I chose the Springhill Suites Denver Airport largely due to Tripadvisor reviews, a need for a clean, comfortable hotel close to the airport after a very long international flight, and a requirement for a little more room than a traditional hotel room. After circling the airport due to thunderstorms, getting one of the last rental cars available, and finding the hotel in rain and darkness, we were exhausted. The front desk staff was friendly and our checkin was handled quickly, our room was spacious and very clean, and the Ruby Tuesday next door stays open until 11 p.m., so we were able to get a hot meal after a long day.

We found the staff very accommodating and helpful. I also used the valet dry cleaning service, and our clothes were delivered freshly pressed at the time promised.

The area around the hotel is obviously new and slated for further development, but the drive into Denver was easy. I highly recommend a stay at the Springhill Suites Denver Airport as a great choice for a clean, comfortable, friendly hotel in a very convenient location.

I stayed here because I missed my flight in Denver. I arrived about 8pm and left @ 6am. The lobby had an upscale, hip vibe which I would not expect from a Springhill Suites. My room had 2 queens, very comfortable with nice linens. The living room area was nicely decorated and spacious. There were even 2 closets in the suite! Internet service was complimentary. Breakfast was also included and began @ 5am to accommodate guests with early flights. Seemed like a broader selection than usually offered @ free breakfast chains. My standard of measure? Hot oatmeal with walnuts, brown sugar and raisins!

The airport shuttle was easy to find the night we arrived and the trip to the hotel was quick. The next morning the shuttle even helped us to get to Hertz to pick up our car.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean, comfortable lobby for breakfast. At first, we noticed a lot of softball teams staying at the hotel, and was expecting a noisy night for our family. Pleasantly surprised that we didn't really notice them at all. We planned for four in one room and three in the other. A little tight for 4, so we requested a sleeper bed as well. No problem at all! We'll definitely stay there again.

We were checked in by a very cordial woman who also signed us up for the morning shuttle. There are 2 computers in an alcove off the lobby for guests to utilize. The room was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The air unit does cycle on and off but we used our travel white noise machine to alleviate that issue as well as some hall noise. We were advised that breakfast began at 5:00 am. Our shuttle ride was for 5:15. The person opening the breakfast area was in no hurry and there was an entire softball team also waiting to eat. We were able to grab a banana, oj & coffee but between the slow service and the team hustling in front of us, we don't really know what the options were. The shuttle operates in a very timely manner. On our return to DIA, we waited about 7 minutes before the hotel shuttle appeared. Our driver, a retired teacher, was very friendly and helpful with the luggage. Our car was as we left it and for the right park and fly rate, we would stay here again.

We took a late flight into Denver and wanted to stay close to the airport the first night before setting off on an extended road trip. We booked via Priceline and got a great rate. Room (suite) was perfect for our needs, clean and comfortable, and about as close to the airport as you will get. There are a couple of other hotels in the same general vicinity.
All in all, for our one night stay, we couldn't have found a better room or a better deal.
