My home in Denver was being remodeled in February and March. During the drywall portion of the project, I spent two nights (okay 1 and 1/2 nights) at this hotel to escape the dust.
The room was reasonably clean, and spacious with a couch and desk and free internet (which was nice) but kind of noisy due to street noise from the busy Speer/Zuni intersection below.
There was a strange smell in the room that bothered me. Cleaning product? I have no idea, but it was irritating to my nose, sinuses and throat. The first night at the hotel, I just left the windows open so the smell did not bother me so much. I wore ear plugs for the noise, so it wasn't such a problem.
The second night, my husband joined me at the hotel, and the noise bothered him, so he wanted the windows closed. With the windows closed, I could not bear to be in the room.
The smell, whatever it was, burned my sinuses and throat, so at 12:30 A.M., I woke up my husband and told him I was going home.
I chose my dusty house over whatever it was at the hotel that irritated me.
I always point out in my reviews conditions that could be troubling to chemically sensitive individuals, and, if you are chemically sensitive, there is some product here that could be problematic for you. It's a fairly new hotel, and back in February (or early March), I could smell the new carpet smell in the stairwell, but that wasn't what this was. So, be aware, especially if you have respiratory sensitivities.
