This is a lovely hotel with attractive accommodations. The room was spotlessly clean and had lots of amenities that are often missing from some of the more upscale hotels (they’re covered in other reviews, so I won't bore you with the details...LOL); the bed and other furnishings were comfortable; the location was convenient to restaurants and shops; the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for the price!

Sorry, I wasn't as blown as others. We reserved two connecting 1 BR suites for a family get together, my family of five and my dad, for a fun long weekend in Denver. We've stayed in most of the 3/4 star hotels downtown and I was anticipating a great stay here. On arrival the check-in staff was ok, not rude not overly nice. Didn't ask if they could offer info or do anything other than check us in. I had not stayed in a Residence Inn in years and I was very surprised by how small the rooms were. Yes, there is a kitchen and would be great for weekleft long stays and eating in, but other than that the living area was quite small. The bedroom was ok, great bed, typical bathroom, nothing special. Breakfast buffet was ok, ran low often and not replenished and tables left dirty. Positives; new hotel in fun colors, great location and pool. Really wished it had a bar in the lobby or some place to grab a drink and hang out in the hotel, not convenient to go out of the hotel next door to hotel Monaco for drinks. Guess just not the place for us and our needs. It is not super cheap either. Could have gotten rooms at Grand Hyatt and Hotel Monaco for the same price, but thought we'd enjoy the extra room of a suite. In the end, not much extra room and the other hotels are much nicer/higher end with better ammenities (IF you don't need a kitchen.) Also our kids fought over who had to sleep on the pull-out. Not comfortable for even 7 and 8 yr olds. Sorry, really wanted to like the place.

  • Liked — location, newer hotel and furnishings
  • Disliked — service and room could have been better/average for price paid

The Residence Inn Denver City Center was wonderful! Its location couldn't be better for walking to a baseball game, various retail shops, and a host of great restaurants. The service was outstanding. The staff was very attentive and willing to meet your every need. The rooms were clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast every morning really was the best, though, as it was more than just a continental breakfast. It also consisted of eggs, pancakes, french toast, and made to order waffles. Overall, this all-suite hotel is a very good value for the money.

For cleanliness, value, location and friendly staff, you'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel in Denver at ANY price. We spent four nights here in a 1 bedroom suite. It was sparkling clean, the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful with directions and the location was 1 1/2 short blocks to the 16th Street mall with tons of restaurants, shops, Wal-gren's, 7-11 and the free shuttle bus which seemed to come every 5 min. Getting to Coors Field was a breeze. Take the shuttle to Blake St. and then walk with the crowd four blocks and you are at the front entrance. Most people turn right when they exit the main entrance of the Residence Inn as we did the first two days. Then we made a MAJOR discovery. If you want Starbucks or a wonderful breakfast/lunch, turn left LEFT. Go to the corner and right there is Starbucks and Le Peep Restaurant. Le Peep has the most extensive and unusual breakfast menu I've ever seen. Anything and everything you could imagine. They close at 2:30 but serve breakfast until then or you can have lunch. We ate at Rialto Cafe one day and it had to be one of the worst meals I've ever had. My friend didn't enjoy hers either. Stay away from that one on 16th Street. By the way, one night after the baseball game we were both hungry and stopped at the 7-11 store on 16th St. near the hotel. I bought an Italian sandwich and it was one of the best I've ever had. While eating it in our room I was wishing I had bought two.

I would highly recommend this Residence Inn to anyone.
