This was by far the nicest hotel that I have stayed at. The bedding was ultra plush, with ten pillows on the bed. There was a Samsung flat screen TV, granite countertops in the bathroom, great bath products, and excellent views of the mountains. The lobby was a great place to hang out, with ultra comfortable couches, a lot of people hanging out, etc. Great location in Denver...only a two block walk to 16th street. All of the staff were very friendly and greeted you every time they walked past you. The bed was the most comfortable bed. The workout facilities were great, with TVs built into the machines. My only complaint was that the hotel was hard to find your way around...there was no maps or description of amenities in the room at all. I did check in really late, so I'm not sure if this was missed. I know another review talked about a breakfast buffet and I was definitely not aware of this. All in all, my stay was great...and this is definitely where I would choose to stay on any future trips to Denver!

This hotel is nice. I stayed here while on a site visit to Denver. I looked at five different hotels while in Denver as I was looking to book a large block of rooms in the city for a trip this fall. This hotel was at the top of our list, the best hotel of the five I visited. The other Hyatt came in second, but does not have the nice facilities that this Hyatt has to offer its clients. The other Hyatt offers larger rooms, but this hotel has a much nicer gym and lobby. The gym is GREAT! I would stay here just for the gym facilities as they are very important to me. I ate at the hotel and the service was really slow. The food was average. The problem was that there was only one waiter for the entire place. It was mid afternoon; but, there were ten tables occupied so wait service was slow. The restaurant was understaffed. Overall, its a great hotel and I would and am going to stay here again.

This is one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed at, and I travel a lot.

The key is service. When we checked in, my wife and I were confused as to who was getting the bags off the Super Shuttle, and the bag with my laptop was left on the shuttle. I told Erik, who greeted us, oh my God, the shuttle is leaving with my bag.

He literally chased the van down and rescued my bag.

That's the kind of service we had the whole trip.

I will say at brunch the restaurant staff could be more attentive, but they were friendly and helpful. We had great service in the lobby bar.

Overall, we found service to be outstanding. And that matched with a quiet, well appointed room, fast elevators -- don't laugh, that matters with 37 floors -- and in general excellent attention to detail.

Now here is the amazing part. We placed a wakeup call one morning. The system asked if we wanted a 10 minute reminder. I said yes. When the call came, my wife was in the shower, and I was sleeping in.

After call number 2, I heard a knock at the door. The Hyatt actually sent a person to our door to knock and wake us up.

I think this is a very rare thing in modern times.

It is clear to me that the management of the Hyatt Regency Denver is very well trained and attuned to customer service.

Beyond service, the bed is one of the best I've slept in. My wife likes the bed firm; I like it a bit softer. Somehow this bed worked for both.

We've traveled a lot and between us we feel this is one of the bext hotels we've experienced.

The John Ruskin poem carved in stone around the hotel adds to the experience.

My wife and I have stayed in several Denver hotels as
"date nights". The Monaco, the Adams Mark, Oxford and now the Hyatt. Firstly I should say that we overpaid wildly as this was a big convention weekend and this may have flavored the experience. The lobby and amenities are quite nice. The room was nice enough and clean but not impressive compared to some of our other date nights. But for us, the ABSOLUTE DEAL BREAKER was the noise. Its hard to describe how loud it was in the room. Next door, the ladies ordered room service and I knew exactly what they got. They talked about how one of them opened the 6 dollar Aquafina bottle that came in the room and all this in a normal speaking voice and at 12:45 am. In the other direction the gentleman flipped between HBO and something else. We looked each other with tears we were so dissapointed, so we called the front desk. Quickly security came and quiteted the neighbors. This left a muted TV from somewhere below us and doors closing up and down the hall. We fell asleep at 1:45 am
We parked in the lot owned by the Hyatt and the next day asked if it was validated but the concierege just smirks and says "just pay as you leave" so it cost us 21 bucks to overnight park. (We probably could have parked on the street for 2 dollars since we arrived later on a Sat.). That took us aback since we were paying over 300 for the one night. Moncao, Brown Palace or the Oxford are all far better for actually sleeping if your thinking of spending that kind of dough anyway

Excellent hotel! Rooms are comfortable, great beds! Very clean. The downtown location is very convenient. There was a large group staying the weekend we were there and still the hallways were quiet and no disturbances. We paid $141.00 a night (AAA) which was very reasonable considering the great location and facility itself. We also enjoyed a free breakfast buffet each day and it was very good! Very fresh and tasty foods with a large selection. Would highly recommend this hotel and if I ever find myself in Denver again, would surely stay here. Parking is roughly $20.00 per day in the garage.
