This is a terrific place to stay in downtown Denver. The hotel is beautiful with great contemporary decor and a wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The location is wonderful, convenient to everything in the downtown area--the convention center, the Denver Center for Performing Arts, the Pavillions, the capitol, and the 16th Street Mall. The room was clean and nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed, lots of pillows, and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was nice although I would have preferred to have the vanity outside. Good water pressure and nice clean modern sink and fixtures. It did not, however, have any towel racks! The amenities--soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion--were first rate. It was very quiet although the hotel appeared to be quite full and the lobby area was teaming with people even late at night. The Peaks bar on the 27th floor has a fabulous view of the mountains and is beautifully furnished. The restaurant on the main floor was very attractive with high ceilings, very modern china, lots of windows, and good food and service (only had breakfast there). The workout facility is very impressive--lots of state of the art equipment, a lap pool and a very nice outdoor hot tub. Way nicer than the usual hotel fitness center, more like a real gym. Lots of large, thick towels. I would definitely stay here again.
