For the 4th of July weekend, we decided to travel down to Denver and stay at Hyatt Regency which is right next door to the 16th street mall. Our room was oalso n the 30th floor which gave us an incredible view of the city and the fireworks.

Pros: They have an Ipod music stereo so you can play and charge up your ipod at the same time. The bathroom was decent sized. Plenty of hangers. Very big TV. Outdoor hot tub underneath the stars. Big Fitness room.
The curtains are amazing, they block out light completely. The walls are very thick; we couldn't hear any of the other hotel guests.

Cons: The beds were a little to high and hard for my tastes and the pillows were a bit too big.

Things to Know:
-You have to pay for parking. There's two options: self-park, which costs you about $24 a night or Valet parking which costs a little more but gives you a better parking location.
-Toothpaste is included among the amenities

Pro: Booked on the Regency plan, which included the Regency Club. Wonderful hors d' oeuvres and drinks in the evening, very good breakfast and snacks throughout the day in a top floor lounge with a great view. Very relaxing. Room was nice size. Linens comfy.
Con: Thought a grand double would be a bigger double bed. It isn't. We all slept poorly (including 2 teenage boys). Beds too small, and they creaked. Be careful ordering bar food in the Strata bar - at least late in the evening. We ordered buffalo wings - $14 for 8 small wings- poor value.
Bottom line: Would stay here again if just as a couple, but never as a family.

After a delayed flight and a wrong turn up into the the Rockies during a thunderstorm we arrived at the Hyatt in the early hours. Check in was courteous and smooth and the bed extremely welcoming. It was a miserable day which according to the concierge was unusual for early June. Hotel was very clean, highly efficient, room large, welcoming, with a great bed and spacious bathroom. All very modern and well decorated. The pool and gymn were first class. It's a chain hotel so don't expect any great personality but for what it does it does it extremely well. I managed to get a great rate on Priceline which was the equivalent price of a 3 star elsewhere and definitely worth a few bucks more.

Easy wlaking distance from cafes' bars, shops and galleries and parks in central Denver. Good choice for business or pleasure.

We were in Denver for a wedding. We reserved 2 rooms since we were travelling with my elderly in-laws. Our rooms were on the 37th floor ( a "concierge" type floor). Access to the Regency club lounge was included. The service was excellent, starting with a very efficient and friendly check-in. All our requests were accommodated quickly. The lounge food was quite good and kept replenished. Views were excellent. Overall really nice experience.
