We stayed at the Denver Hyatt at Colorado Convention Centre for a conference in November 2008. From the minute we got out of the hotel, it was an exemplary visit. The gentlemen at the door were very welcoming and kind. Josh at the front desk was efficient and knowledgeable when we checked in. Our room was excellent, spotless clean, very comfortable bed with a variety of pillows so you could find one you liked, great amenities including travel size toothpaste - we have not seen that before and loved that!
We had a discussion with John, the Housekeeping manager at one point when we were waiting in line at the front desk (he was quick to approach us so we were not waiting long and assisted us with our request), he told us more about the hotel and how it was striving for a "green" status. The hotel goes to great lengths to recycle, you see recycle bins everywhere, and also use energy efficient lighting and appliances.
The gym at the hotel is excellent with at least 10 cardio machines with TV's for your entertainment. The decor through the hotel is modern and tasteful.
The staff were pleasant at every turn, and for a North American hotel, it was truly outstanding (we travel for conferences a lot and this hotel has stood out as the best we have been to for business travel).
The hotel also has very reasonably priced foods and drinks. Drinks at the conference social were under $6 (we have paid $8+ in other hotels), and the extensive continental breakfast buffet (with tons of fresh cut fruit) was great at $10.50 per person including coffee.
The location of the hotel is excellent - we went to the most amazing Peruvian dinner while there - ask about the name of it at the front desk, it's about 4 blocks away. Plus, the Rioja restaurant on Larimer and 14th was completely beyond excellent.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.
