My wife and I (in our late 20's) stayed at the Hyatt for 3 nights and had a great experience. The biggest benefit was the location as it was close to the interstates and in the heart of downtown. We went up and down the 16th street shuttle many times to eat/drink/shop. went to a game at Coors Field and saw movies at the UA theater. all are within walking distance. I recommend Marlowes on 16th street for a great happy hour with $3 drinks and appetizers. The lunch there was also excellent. The best part of the hotel service was the concierge service. They were extremely helpful and made all our reservations and had printed directions ready for each place. The concierge recommneded an Italian place called Venice. It was amazing. We even had free after dinner drinks there courtesy of a coupon our concierge gave us. Samba Room was also good. Sams #3 was an excellent breakfast option 2 blocks away. We had a bad experience at Appaloosa grill- very poor service. If interested in whitewater rafting Clear Creek was only 15 minutes away. we had a blast. Peaks lounge is a must-see. Very good drinks with a nice view.
The hotel room itself was nice. Great view from the 25th floor. Excellent bed and LCD TV. The walls are paper thin as others have stated. Parking was $15/day at the Denver athletic club. The Hyatt garage was full so they made arrangments there for us. It was next door and convenient. Overall we had a wonderful stay for about $80/night but i would feel comfortable paying up to $150
