Very nice, clean property.

We had requested a KING room and were given a doubles (this was the only problem with the stay). They offered to move us the next day to a king room and upgraded us to the club floor for not being able to provide the KING we requested, so we were satisfied as the club floor had lots of extra goodies). We've never stayed at a HYATT on the club floor, and were impressed enough to maybe even request it for our next trip to a Hyatt. Free light breakfast and afternoon snacks on the club floor.

As for the room, it was very clean. This is our major requirement in any hotel stay. There was a large flat screen TV. The bed was comfortable (we both slept great). The amenities were very high end incluing L'Occitane brand products.

The concierge was very helpful with and provided us with directions for a nice day trip.

There is an enterprise car rental on-site. We rented a car to go to the mountains for a quick day-trip.

The lobby is large, open, and inviting.

The properly is just one block away from the convention center and downtown shopping.

The property had the cleanest workout and indoor pool area I have ever seen at a large hotel. There is a spa on site, but it looked like massage only as I did not see a menu for skin care services, but they might offer them as well.

A very nice hotel.

The Hyatt Regency is a great business travelers hotel - very clean, modern yet comfortable, relaxing decor. I stayed for a week and enjoyed every time I was in the hotel. They have an amazing workout room - glass looking out on the city. The staff is over the top helpful and accommodating. If you don't believe me, just order room service once. They got everything right, down to the "no-ice" in the water. Problems: you have to pay for Internet (either T-Mobile wireless or $10/24 hour period for wired), luckily I had a broadband card which wasn't blocked (other wireless signals, including the free downtown wireless seemed to be blocked). Also, parking can be a bear, but if you Super Shuttle it from the airport and are downtown, it's great. Just a block from 16th St. Pedestrian mall and lots of great restaurants. The concierge got me a reservation at a lovely Italian restaurant that included free after-dinner drinks (limoncello). All in all, a very nice stay.

“Great Service!”

Hyatt Regency Denver At Colorado Convention Center

Mar 28, 2008

The hotel is super nice and clean. The service was impeccible. There wasn't anything I wanted for that wasn't promplty and courteously provided. The staff were all friendly and ready to help at the drop of a hat. The hotel is located directly accross from the convention center, giving easy access for those in town for a convention. It's also located within walking distance to the 16th street mall, and there you can find tons of resturants and shops.

This is a large hotel and many rooms have excellent views of Denver. My room was very new, well decorated with a very comfortable bed and a modern desk for working in the room. The bathroom was well-designed, with a modern look and no issues. Overall, the room was excellent, no complaints.

Desk service was top-notch at check-in and check-out. There is a lobby sports bar that has a huge number of televisions going, which as very popular during March Madness. The service was very attentive and atmosphere was good.

The location of the hotel was very good, with many restaurants and nightspots a short walk away. I would definitely consider staying at this property again.

“Great Hotel when Fully Packed!”

HUGE tournament at the convention center, knew the hotel was packed ahead of time. I did a web check in ahead of time to secure a rollaway, I highly recommend it. Went to a kiosk to check in, found they were out of order to accomodate the huge group, yet a staff member said he'd help me anyway. I had upgraded to club level, always find that it's worth it. Toiletries were L'occitane, room a bit small, but the club was close by. Staff was amazing. I knew the hotel was full, but everyone was very accomodating. True story, walking around checking out the hotel with our 5 year old, decided to check out the pool. Came out of the elevator, looking for the directional signs when a maintenance man addresses us and asks if there was anything he could do? Another example, club staff went downstairs to the kitchen to get our daughter cheese for breakfast, per her random comment. My only complaint would be housekeeping. We left the room everyday around 8:30, returning around 2pm....upon our return the room was never made up. We'd have to call to get it done....the one morning when we do sleep in, they knock on the door at 8am to clean....go figure. One other thing, if you do stay on the club floor, request a room AWAY from the club entrance. The doors are so heavy that you hear it slamming starting at 6am. All in all, in a case where there was downright pandemonium within the hotel, they were stellar. Food service was great, staff around the hotel was great, room was great, amenities were great......I will stay here again when I'm downtown! By the way, we stayed there 4 nights.
