After living in Germany for six years, I was forever on the hunt for authentic German food in the Denver area. Cafe Berlin by far exceeded the taste test. Their menu selection is outstanding and if you are a German food fan this restaurant is a must. The atmosphere and service is excellent. The staff is friendly and personable. I have to say my favorite four course meal at Cafe Berlin includes: Appetizer; Kartoffelpuffers, Salad or soup; Cucumber Salad in a delightful dill cream sauce or their excellent split pea soup on a cold winter day, Entrée; Jagerschnitzel with pan fried German potatoes and red cabbage and dessert; the warm apple strudel a al mode. I tried the Cafe Berlin in Downtown Denver and was really pleased with their beer, food and service. All entree include soup and two other side dish. So it can be very filling. Their slow cooked half duckling was really tasty. I cannot say if the food is authentic. But I shall still recommend it towhoever likes to try German dishes.
