“Very good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Housed in the famous hotel, this restaurant is fairly casual and crowded. Would recommend getting a reservation. The piano is great, but you probably don't want to sit next to it. The best tables are off in the back against the wall on your left as you walk in.

Service is great. Food is great. Truffle fries are awesome. Everything is expensive, but not overwhelming so.

“Best Trout”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

The trout was excellent along with the bread served prior to the meal. A bit pricey, but worth it if you can afford $40/meal.

“Wonderful Piano Player”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

The piano player made the evening. The menu didn't offer a lot of choices. Prices were really high considering the atmosphere of the room.

“Consistent Great Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

The Ship Tavern at the Brown Palace serves a great lunch. Although it is busy, the food and service is excellent. No matter what you have (clam chowder, cobb salad, hamburger) you will enjoy it.
