“Good quality local food and drink”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

I dined twice at Marlowe's while in Denver. Service was fast and polite, the food nicely made and delicious, and a good choice of drinks. I particularly liked their Bison Burger, leaner than normal beef. And their Red Nose locally brewed red ale.

Thank you for the review! We are always happy to hear that people stop in multiple times while they are in town. The Bison Burger is definitely one of our more popular items and we are glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again and we hope to see you next time you are in town.

“Close & nummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We were staying at the nearby Comfort Inn and needed a place with good food and service and we found that at Marlowe's! The ambiance is fantastic - a little historic but modern service and a menu with variety. Our server was very attentive and fast, but not bothersome. I'll be back here when I visit Denver again!

“Right on the Mall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I had the jambalaya and it was pretty good with shrimp and chorizo, but I've definitely had better. The establishment was busy and loud....we were there on a Wednesday night about 6pm. The barmaid from Coyote Ugly's recommended it along with two other restaurants beside it. was pricey for average food.

“Pleased to support Local especially when it's good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

This was our first trip to Denver. We chatted with Marlowe's hostess, Emily, early in the afternoon. She was so nice, we came back for dinner. The food was great, the drinks were cold. Our server Maggie was terrific. We had the Charcuterie Board appetizer of local sausages, kraut, and other goodies, pasta and salad. It was all delicious. Locally owned, local produce. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for the review and we are glad to see we were able to be a part of your first trip to Denver. Our staff is a lot of the reason that people come back and it looks like Emily and Maggie reminded us of just that. Being locally owned and using local products is something that we pride ourselves on to give people from out of town something that is truly Colorado. We will see you when you return!

Thank you for the review! We always like to hear when the staff does a great job but like you said attentive and helpful. To us this means they are really doing their job great to provide you with the best possible experience. The patio seating is definitely the place to be on the mall to take in all the sights of Denver. Glad you had a great meal and experience and we look forward to providing it for you again.
