This restaurant was a nice respite from the overpriced restaurants that are open for dinner downtown. I'd recommend it for a business dinner or dinner with friends/ family.
You can easily have a nice plate of pasta for $10-12. I had a house salad ($5) and a pasta dish with scallops, shrimp, garlic, tomatoes, and spinach ($12). My dinner companion had a lamb roast special. The food was light and very flavorful. All of the ingredients were fresh (of primary importance for this type of cuisine). The seafood was of high quality (huge fresh shrimp). The portions are not huge, but very reasonable. The winelist was relatively small, but there were some good options.
The ambiance of the restaurant was a bit down-scale (it is decorated more as a casual bistro than a fancy restaurant) and the noise was a bit clattery (tables and chairs all on hard surfaces), but the food and service were great, so that made up for it.
