“Good food, great atmosphere, excellent service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2012

Tried Cucina Calore as part of Denver's Restaurant week. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was excellent. Their regular menu was very varied although prices seem on the high side. We ordered from the 5280 menu for restaurant week and our meals were very good. Appetizers (calamari, caprese skewers and roasted red pepper soup) were fine, nothing spectacular. Two of us had their "pastaless" lasagna which is basically layered eggplant parmesan, it was very tasty but goes for $19 on the regular menu which seems high to me. My daughter had the salmon which was prepared nicely. The peach bread pudding and tiramisu were a good ending to an enjoyable meal. They have a corner location in Cherry Creek North with outside patio tables which would be great in nice weather. Glad that we gave this place a try, we will return.

“Worth checking out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

Stopped by with a friend this weekend after doing some shopping in Cherry Creek.

The place was vibrant, but not packed and the service was very good. Our waiter was very on top of things but great because he realized we were doing a lot of gabbing and wasn't too pushy about the ordering.

We each got a salad and split an order of Beef Carpaccio. I thought the carpaccio was great - tender, flavorful, really nice consistency. My salad was yummy as well - simple but delicious - mixed greens, olives and wonderful balsamic vinaigrette. My friend's salad looked tasty as well, though hers had a few more ingredients.

Pair that with a couple cocktails each and we were happy shoppers!
Would definitely check Cucina Calore out again - looks like a good happy hour destination.
