Really a trip. Country Japanese decor with farm implements, stone tables, Rustic .
like nothing else you have seen. i have waited 2 years for this and was not disappointed.
Went with two chefs and one girlfriend its their favorite. Don't expect sushi. Its noodle dishes with little dishes of country vegetables. The Calamari is differant and very good.
The raman was delicious and good portions. Nationally rated restaurant.
If you have special dietary needs - don't go.
They confront you at the door and warn you right up front. The chef only serves the food the way he feels is right and takes no prisoners. No soy on the table. Our Vegan friend did not have a fun meal but understands - its authentic.
Its quirky - visit the garden and the museum and read up about the owner. Gaku Homma. Unique guy. Read his cook book.
