I arrived with my 7yo daughter in Denver for 3 days of shopping and mother daughter time before flying out of DIA. We have always stayed in downtown Denver and I decided to try Cherry Creek. It was a great decision. Hotel was very easy to find and the minute we arrived the valet was so nice and check-in was a breeze. I especially liked that they came from behind the check-in counter to hand me my keys and information and shake my hand and welcome me. The entire stay they referred me as Mrs. ... and my daughter Miss ... she thought that was cool. Breakfast was good, pretty ordinary buffet but some good choices off the menu. Location terrific! Could walk to all shopping & restaurants. Room was typical upscale room, but bathroom was large with tub and separate shower and large marble vanity. Check-out and retrieving car was the quickest I've EVER had. Just a great hotel, and especially super professional staff.

I am a recording artist and I had to stay in Denver for three days. I went on trip advisor like I always do and was impressed with all of the nice reviews, but I gotta tell you....this place is a waste of money.

To start with I checked in and they did not have any record of me ever checking in at all or reserving a room. I gave them the # they gave me and they found it but said it was a normal room. I said no way, I got the suite but they totally played it off and said there is only one suite available, room 903.

Well, its one king bed, a couch and a view of the commercial roof-tops. Not worth the 399.99 a night.

So I am saying that while its clean, friendly, its just not worth the money for a suite. The concierge is a joke. Cheap cheese and cheep sausage. This is what I pay another 100.00 a night for?

Anyway, while some may like this place, its just too overpriced. I should of gotten a whole lot more for my 399.99 a night. Plus they gouge you 20% ON EVERYTHING! Not to mention the 29.00 a night to park!

A total gouge....better off going somewhere else.

The Hotel was great, the property was very well upkept. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Stayed in the normal king room it was big enough and the bathroom was bigger. Really enjoyed the evening turn down service. As a Marriott rewards member this hotel was totally worth the $189 a night. Parking was kind of high $24 a night, there is public parking just a 1/2 a block up the road. Room service was great and ahead of the scheluded time for delivery.

  • Liked — the room was great.
  • Disliked — the location, would have been better down town.

I spent the 4th of July on the 10th floor of the J W Marriott at Cherry Creek. It has a great view of the mountains, and the fireworks were awesome framed against the Rockies, and the city.
Every employee went out of their way to see if we needed anything. Maids, Concieges, the spa employees, and the Valets were all very attentive, and helpful. We had the best service, and the advice from the concierges was right on. Elway's is a great, close place to dine. Andrew is a great worker, he was supremely helpful, knowlegeble, and wanted us to have a great visit. Cudos to everyone on staff. Dave Sears

This hotel lived up to our expectations. We stayed on the concierge floor and it is well worth it. The room is large and bright with a well lit bathroom with a seperate shower & Bath. The concierge room had excellent continental breakfast and evening coffee and desert. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Location in the middle of Cherry Creek near the mall and shopping excellent. Parking is expensive ($24 per day ) .
Even number rooms have a view of the mountains.
