My hubby and I spent the night here for a belated Valentines day celebration. The hotel was amazing from the beginning. We asked for a high floor room facing the mountaiins and we got it. The view was worth it alone. To see the city framed by the Rockies in the background was breath taking. I was a bit worried that due to the pretentious neighborhood the staff would follow suit and be able to tell that we were not big spenders. If they could they sure didn't act like it. There were kind, warm, inviting and accomodating at all turns. A truely amazing experience in this day and age of money buying you kindness. The room was lovely and well appointed. The extras pillows we asked for were there on checking. The bathroom was lovely including the most wonderul lighted makeup mirror and slippers to go with our robes. We ordered milk and cookies before dinner that were quite a treat. Also we had dinner at the resturant. It was ok, not the best meal I ever had but not the worst for sure. The somalier was great and took time to explain to me the in's and out's of Austrailian stickies(a dessert wine). Service was a bit slow since there was only us and 2 other couples eating. (we had to ask for drink refils)..but I can forgive something so minor. The rooms was VERY VERY quiet. Not a peep from the hall..no sounds of people above or below walking around..no water running no toilets flushing. Silence..perfect silence. It was a calm relaxing night for us. Just what we were looking for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
