Stumbled upon the kitchen by accident. I got off the "free mall shuttle" earlier then I meant to...but it worked out, as I found the kitchen. SO...I was power walking up 16th when I noticed some patio seating with some people eating some really delicious looking fries. I did not want to stare at the food people were eating (well I wanted to, but that would have been creepy) so I went closer and took a look at the menu. I thought I had my heart set on a place closer to the pedestrian mall, so I continued on. BUT I simply could not get the fries out of my mind! SO I went back. The hostess was super friendly, treated me like she knew me. The server was really, REALLY informative and seemed concerned that I had a great experience! I had a delicious and refreshing cocktail, "The Aztec". It was a good balance of sweet and refreshing. I had an amazing portobello sandwich...with yes, the fries!!! The building is amazing and the location is awesome!!!! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgable! The bathrooms were SUPER clean and had the greatest hand soap and little hand towels!! It seemed really fancy but the whole place is pretty low key and laid back. They really know what they are doing!! Impressive menu, impressive beer and wine list, just impressive!! Loved it, will go again and again and again...NOW, stop reading and go check it out!!!!!!
