This was a horrible hotel. My husband and I were stuck in Denver due bad weather for two days and the airline put us up in this hotel (on a Thursday). About 10 of us were sent to the hotel at around 12am, and with two staff members working the front desk, it took them more than an hour to get us all checked into rooms. The first night my husband and I were put in a room with twin beds. When we asked to change rooms for the following night, they still could not “find a clean room with a king size bed.”
The room was bearable, but unfortunately, our stay did not improve. The first room were placed in a room without working cable pay-per-view. Next we were moved to a room that supposedly had working cable (still in twin beds), but we did not have consistent pay per view cable service. While the maintenance people were kind and helpful, the problem was never fully resolved.
Fortunately, there were restaurants walking distance from the hotel (something we learned since hotel restaurant closes in the middle of the day). We made the mistake of eating dinner in the hotel restaurant where the food was barely edible. My husband and I both order the ribs which were too greasy, too fatty and barely warm served with cold French fries. It was so bad we passed on dinner and got Cheetos from the snack store downstairs.
Finally, the worst was the dirty sheets. Before bed I pulled down my bedding to go to bed which felt itchy and found that the sheets were covered with human hair! I called the front desk and they were very apologetic and called housekeeping to change the sheets. They were promptly changed 10 minutes later. However, our stay was nothing short of infuriating. Unless you’re forced by the airport to stay there, I would never recommend this hotel!
