In summary, I would stay at this hotel again if I were in Denver but it would not be my first (or second) choice. Marriott categorizes this hotel as one of its budget lines and it’s alright if you have realistic expectations.

This hotel is built on the façade of an older industrial building. The appearance is attractive but I question the quality of the construction. Although we didn’t hear any noise from the adjoining rooms, which may be due to one them being an office used only in the daytime, when the person above us walked across the room, our room seemed to literally shake.

This hotel is about a mile and a half from downtown, walkable but barely. The hotel location is not in a particularly nice area. The location is somewhat offset by the free parking since a lot of the downtown hotels now charge exorbitant parking fees. There are several modest but good restaurants within a block, and before the neighborhood starts to deteriorate.

The desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The property appears to be reasonable well maintained and managed. The free breakfast was minimalistic and was accurately described as “grab and go” since there is no place to sit in the lobby. You won’t want this breakfast for very many days.

The fitness center is very basic and one of the aerobic machines was broken while I was there. However, hotel guests have membership privileges at a Ballys about four or five miles away which I used twice. The internet worked flawlessly and the room had a comfortable desk chair which I used for about three hours each day.

The rooms are small but have a couch, chair, and a desk. The kitchens are basic and the furnished kitchenware is limited and cheap. The bed, although probably relatively new, has a cheap mattress which was not particularly comfortable and you could hear the springs squeak when you sat on it.

Not what I expected based on my Marriott experiences. The suite was large with two rooms, large bathroom, open plan living/kitchen. Beds were small and poorly made up. The linen on the bed was of poor quality. Overall comfort was OK but not great. The whole suite would have benefited from a good clean. I was quite disappointed with this place.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.

The room is clean and it does not have old fashion flower pattern ugly coversheet. The room has a kitchen with refigrator, coffee maker, toaster, stove, pots, pans, and dishes. The room has wired Internet service. It also has a sofa. The bathroom is clean.

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff was very helpful. She gave us a list of restaurants that are near by (walking distance), so we can have lunch while waiting on our hotel room.

In the morning, the lobby has coffee and juice available (free) to the hotel guests.

This hotel will be good for a long term stay as it has Gym and lundary facility.

I considered the hotel location is good as it has restaurants near by. (Just a side note: there are several TV stations near by as well). The driving distance to downtown is not far.

All in all, I will stay at this hotel again.

  • Liked — The hotel is clean and smoke free.
  • Disliked — The bed can be more comfortable.

This is an excellent choice for an extended stay, but the hotel also makes sense for a shorter stay such as my recent five-night visit. This type of hotel is really a hybrid of apartment/hotel. There is a fully-equipped kitchen in each of the studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites. The kitchen will enable one to enjoy breakfast in the privacy of one's own room, without having to "scrub up" before entering the usual hotel breakfast room. Of course, it's always a delight to save the $20 hotel restaurant breakfast charge. There are other obvious benefits to having the kitchen amenity.

There is limited housekeeping service, but the usual towel, soap, etc., replenishment is done on a daily basis, and I suspect that if I had any further requirements the friendly staff would have gladly supplied them.

The location is excellent with many restaurants and stores very close by. It is a healthy one-mile walk to the center of Denver's bustling downtown heart.

A final remark: it was a pleasure to be able to open the room window at night when summer temperatures are a delight in Denver.

Decor is certainly not "posh", but certainly is most adequate.

This can be your "home away from home" in Denver.

I stayed here three days while in town house looking a real estate for an upcoming relocation.

The staff was helpful and attentive, the parking plentiful, the bed was comfortable (great sheets!), the room was spotless, the internet worked, and the small kitchen was well appointed. They have a small convenience center in the lobby where you can get free coffee or tea or buy reasonably priced snacks. Two nights of my stay there were free fresh baked cookies in the lobby!

It IS hard to find if you are using a GPS so I'd call the hotel for better directions.

It isn't a good walking distance to downtown sites - but that wasn't a factor in my visit.

  • Liked — Clean - great staff - well appointed
  • Disliked — Not walking distance to sites
