“Divine in Denver”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

This was a LOVELY introduction to Denver! I was here on business July 11-15, 2013. Although the conference was held at a hotel in Golden (a 30-minute drive away), I wanted to stay at a pretty hotel, and the Four Seasons delivered that on a silver platter. Room 601 is billed as their "deluxe corner king", and it delights in every way. The bathroom is large, set on a square template (always the best configuration). The free-standing tub in front of the tall windows is a wonderful way to enjoy a bubble bath. Double sinks, a large walk-in shower with dual heads (rain shower and hand-held), and a private w.c. ensure one's morning and evening rituals are flavoured with calm. As for the closet space: I have never been one to pack lightly, and these closets not only handled my many outfits, but there was room to spare (generally unheard of). The area for the King bed, desk, and television is excellent - no overcrowding, should there be two of you. Because the unit is on a corner, I was able to easily view the tremendous lightening show Mother Nature blessed Denver with each evening - spectacular! Room service was greatly enjoyed for three dinners and three breakfasts. Given the incredible talents of the Chef & Team, I am astonished they didn't have to roll me out of the hotel. Bikini food it is not! The pool area is gorgeous - indeed, when the children are not about, I dare say it is quite sexy. Along with the beautiful pool and hot tub, comfy furnishings welcome you, easing away any business stress. The staff spoiled me silly in every way possible, and I will most emphatically return to this remarkable hotel for my next stay. I may even make up an excuse simply to return. One note: do try to get a room on a higher floor. The noise from a club across the street, along with the many sirens of emergency vehicles make for a rather entertaining night - perhaps not what you may be looking for. For those needing their daily Starbucks hit, there is one less than half a block away - but be warned: they close at 4pm on Sunday (that was a shocker, as all the ones i frequent in Toronto are open to at least 9pm, if not 11pm on a Sunday).

Room Tip: Definitely ask for the Deluxe Corner King Room with the Free-Standing tub, and go for a floor higher...

We stayed here for 6 nights in a suite (2 adults, 2 3-year olds) and overall really enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is great and very convenient to everything. Everyone was really friendly and really nice to our kids (they loved the wagon of toys and the little tents in the room). Our room was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The spa was wonderful but small. There is a beautiful whirlpool in the ladies locker room and my massages were fantastic. Unfortunately the steam room was not operating when I visited. We had breakfast in our suite every day and the food was really good.

Our only complaint was that the service, especially housekeeping, was very uneven. They didn't replenish the toiletries very often or tidy up in the usual Four Seasons fashion. Once I found cleaning cloths that housekeeping didn't clear out and they also left trash that they meant to throw out in the foyer of the suite. My husband broke his toe and called for ice - they said it would be up in 5 mins but he had to call back 45 mins later to request it again. The shade in the bathroom broke and we had to call twice to have it repaired (and it still kept coming off the track).

Overall we really enjoyed our trip and I'm sure we'll be back as it's the nicest place to stay in Denver. I also believe that the Four Seasons takes these reviews seriously and I'm sure the service will be top notch next time we visit.

loved staying here within walking distance to most everything you would want to do in Denver. Near 16th mall, Larrimer Square, theatre district across the street. easy access to share bikes, park and river. we even walked to the Rockies game. Rooms lovely, clean with all the high end amenities you would expect. tv screen in mirror was husbands fav, I liked the heated bathroom floors. Spa small but adequate. pool surprisingly popular. staff all polished.

Room Tip: all rooms will have some sort of interesting view. higher the better.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us! It is wonderful to read your comments. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the little touches such as the heated floors. Our Spa is one of the largest in Denver, with 10 treatment rooms, and separate his-and-hers relaxation areas with steam rooms and whirlpools. We hope you can come back again soon! Thanks again,

Our first time at a Four Seasons my husband and I went with our two children 4 and 18 months. When we arrived they had a wagon that they could each pick out a toy. In the room they had a snack tray for them with their name written in chocolate. (they spelled both of them wrong but no big deal) They had kid robes too. There were no slippers for adults or kids :( They set up a tent that both of our kids slept in and really enjoyed. The staff was very friendly. We got room service breakfast which I wasn't impressed with it was like any other hotels (complementary) breakfast and you had to pay for, we didn't go to the hotel restaurant, spa or pool so I cant comment on that. We stayed July 4th weekend so we watched fireworks from our room which was really nice with young kids. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend four seasons.

Hello, we are glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us! Hope the kids liked their treats. :) We offer slippers only on request; with our properties slippers are usually a standard amenity in our resort properties, but not in our city hotels. Next time you come, please call housekeeping and we would be glad to deliver a pair to your room! Thanks again for sharing your wonderful feedback, it is so helpful. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Stayed here for 4 nights in June and it was awesome. Great valet to front desk personnel. I was very pleased with the room and the spa. I would recommend to anyone who wants a top flight hotel. The only request would be longer pool hours for the outside pool. I liked the transportation provided for local area, makes it nice when you don't feel like driving or walking or taking a cab. The staff is wonderful and friendly.
