This was a LOVELY introduction to Denver! I was here on business July 11-15, 2013. Although the conference was held at a hotel in Golden (a 30-minute drive away), I wanted to stay at a pretty hotel, and the Four Seasons delivered that on a silver platter. Room 601 is billed as their "deluxe corner king", and it delights in every way. The bathroom is large, set on a square template (always the best configuration). The free-standing tub in front of the tall windows is a wonderful way to enjoy a bubble bath. Double sinks, a large walk-in shower with dual heads (rain shower and hand-held), and a private w.c. ensure one's morning and evening rituals are flavoured with calm. As for the closet space: I have never been one to pack lightly, and these closets not only handled my many outfits, but there was room to spare (generally unheard of). The area for the King bed, desk, and television is excellent - no overcrowding, should there be two of you. Because the unit is on a corner, I was able to easily view the tremendous lightening show Mother Nature blessed Denver with each evening - spectacular! Room service was greatly enjoyed for three dinners and three breakfasts. Given the incredible talents of the Chef & Team, I am astonished they didn't have to roll me out of the hotel. Bikini food it is not! The pool area is gorgeous - indeed, when the children are not about, I dare say it is quite sexy. Along with the beautiful pool and hot tub, comfy furnishings welcome you, easing away any business stress. The staff spoiled me silly in every way possible, and I will most emphatically return to this remarkable hotel for my next stay. I may even make up an excuse simply to return. One note: do try to get a room on a higher floor. The noise from a club across the street, along with the many sirens of emergency vehicles make for a rather entertaining night - perhaps not what you may be looking for. For those needing their daily Starbucks hit, there is one less than half a block away - but be warned: they close at 4pm on Sunday (that was a shocker, as all the ones i frequent in Toronto are open to at least 9pm, if not 11pm on a Sunday).
