We stopped off for one night after landing from a long flight from London and before starting a big tour of the Rockies and beyond - we arrived at 8.30 at night and were on the road before 8 in the morning so all we wanted was a comfy bed, adequate facilities and a reasonable price. This hotel more than scored against all of these needs.
The hotel is 10 mins drive from car hire at the airport and was easy to find - along Tower Road with all the other hotels/motels. The landmark is the 7/11 store and gas station - turn here and the hotel is 200yds on the left. Check in was easy and the room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with huge bathrooms. Hyatt House is the budget brand within the Hyatt group so don't expect the same range of toiletries and bath robes etc, you may get in 'proper Hyatts' but perfectly adequate. The kitchen was equipped with coffee maker and enough equipment to make a full meal if you liked - we walked over to the 7/11 and did take away - all we needed after airplane dinner.
My son and daughter hit the gym to loosen up after the flight and said it was well equipped, clean and fresh.
Self service buffet breakfast in the morning is free to all - nothing to write home about - but again more than adequate to set us on our way!
It is sometimes difficult to rate a hotel like this. Our expectations weren't high because we paid relatively little and all we wanted was a place to sleep well after a 10 hour flight. As we drove away in the morning we reflected that our expectations had been more than met. It did what we wanted with the added extras of friendly staff, excellent cleanliness, rooms bigger than we could have expected, extremely comfy beds/pillows, well equipped, easy to get to, so although we will probably forget it quite quickly, it has to be 5 stars!
