Not a bad spot. Near the Zoo and Museum of Natural Science/IMAX. A nice place to walk or jog. Recenlty completed infrastructure improvements. Two lakes, with geese and ducks. Keep in mind it is near the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Colorado Blvd. This area is not a safe place after dark. You will find vagrant types hanging around the park. So, it is a good idea not to go alone, or if you do, ride a bicycle so you can easily escape a potentially dangerous situation. City Park would greatly benefit from increased police monitoring.
