“Pompeii and more!”

We went to the Pompeii exhibit--fabulous, IMAX Deep Sea movie--fascinating, and wandered the museum for an hour. Great place to spend time while in Denver.

The museum is well stocked with a wide variety of things to learn more about. The staff were nice, helpful and well informed. Nothing I disliked here.

“Great museum and military friendly!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

We visited here and took our 4.5 month old Niece with us along with our 15 year old son while in Denver for visiting family for the holidays. We all had a great time and found the museum very informative! We were living just outside Chicago at the time and found this museum to be much more relaxing than the ones we've visited in Chicago where we felt rushed at times because of the price to get in and then so much to cover before it closed. Here at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science we found we were able to leisurly walk around not feeling rushed at all and we still were able to see the whole museum and have a wonderful day! I would defniately like to go back next time we are in the area visiting family!

This museum is an awesome setting for children, who enjoying learning more about their world. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit that was temporary but informative. Every corner is a place to take a wonderful photo as a way to keep the memory.
