This hotel is located on hotel row near the Denver Airport.
If you don't mind waiting hours for a bus to pick you up, they have shuttle service. Don't bother to call for a pickup they won't answer and if they do it is major inconvenience. You have to schedule the bus ride to airport way in advance and they only go once or twice an hour so plan in advance!
The front desk staff is rude and inconsiderate. You are a major bother to them! They will ignore you to talk with friends and play on the computer. Half the time they aren’t even at the front desk, they sit in the lobby feet on a table and watch TV.
Room was nice but the banging doors at all hours of the day and night limit the ability to sleep or relax.
With so many choices don't stop here.
Nothing special about this hotel. If you are a light sleeper, don't like slamming doors, and are only interested in breakfeast, then this will be a good place. Beds are comfortable, and it is clean. You are in the middle of nowhere.
I did an overnight stay at the Hampton Inn between flights this month.
If you in transit and don't need to rent a car (which was my situation), just call the hotel to request a shuttle bus pickup right after you retrieve your baggage. Apparently one of the bus drivers' pet peeves is having to drive out to the airport and then being stuck at the airport while the passengers are still inside the terminal waiting for their bags. That said, it doesn't take them very long to get between the hotel and the airport bus stop -- maybe 12 minutes, maximum.
The first bus to the airport leaves at 3 a.m. (not 4:30 a.m. as reported in other reviews), but I did take the 4:30 a.m. bus out to catch my 6:15 a.m. flight. You'll need to make shuttle reservations the night before (and they'll give you a reservation card, which really isn't necessary to hand back to the driver).
The front desk also provided me a 10% off card for the Moonlight Diner & Bar next door to the Hampton Inn. The diner is surprisingly good and the fare varied. They have a "Zagat rating" article from USA Today on the wall, which I guess is a testimony to them being a decent restaurant. The diner is open until 11 p.m. (while the kitchen closes at 10:30).
The room I sent the night in had two double beds, the one I slept on was surprisingly comfy. The bathroom seemed relatively nice, with amenities like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, skin lotion and facial & body soap bars. There was also a coffee maker in there, above the toilet (ick). The only negatives to the room was that beyond the comfy beds, the rest of the furniture seemed a bit beat up and cheaper, but I was thankful to have free Internet (the Ethernet cable was between the double beds so I had to run the cable under the bed over to where the work table was.
I didn't get to stick around late enough into the morning to try the hot breakfast, but the front desk lady did give me an apple and a Special K bar (I could've had a bag if I asked for it; other items they will throw in there include a preservative-flavored muffin and I believe maybe also a bottle of water).
The hotel also has an indoor pool, which I wish I could've jumped into. Maybe next time.
Convenient location. New. Clean. Pool but no spa. Transportation to airport and car rentals. Very comfortable bed and pillow. I didn't stay for breakfast so I can't comment on that. Friendly staff.
