We recently stayed at Hotel Teatro on a family trip to Colorado. The location was great and within walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. If you can't walk there, they will drive you, which is a nice perk. The rooms were gorgeous--updated, spacious and very comfortable! Above all, the staff was very friendly and helpful, which is key when travelling with small children. We will definitely go back to Hotel Teatro on our next visit to the area and will tell all of our friends about our experience there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay at Hotel Teatro the third weekend of June 2009. We were visiting Denver to attend a concert at the Pepsi Center. It was so nice to be able to walk to and from the concert. Hotel Teatro is also conveniently located between fabulous restaurants and the museums. We walked everywhere!

We were most impressed with the wonderful people. I had called before our arrival to inquire about a couple of details. Jim, the Night Manager, was very helpful and welcoming. He reduced my anxiety about staying in a hotel that was new to us. Upon our arrival and throughout our stay, the bell men were true gentlemen. They were genuinely friendly and were always willing to help. The desk staff was great and Carolyn, the Concierge, is a professional. Right after we checked-in, Carolyn kindly reviewed a list of dining options with us. She then called and made a reservation for us at a nearby restaurant so we could watch the stunning sunset beyond the Rockies from the second story terrace.

The housekeeping/maid service was top notch with attention to detail. The room and bathroom were always immaculate. Plus, the turn down service was a nice touch. Incidentally, we love the decor of the room and especially, the bathroom! The rain shower was a unique treat, indeed!

Thank you Hotel Teatro for making our first time in Denver a pleasant and memorable experience!

Hotel Teatro is a "boutique" hotel in a beautiful old building right in the heart of downtown Denver. The building retains many original features and has great theatre related decor. The location is second to none - on a quiet street just a few blocks from a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Every single member of staff was fantastic from the moment we arrived till the moment we left - super helpful and friendly - and nothing was too much trouble. They advised us on where to eat, where to pay speeding fines, what to see and they were happy to keep our luggage in storage for 10 days while we travelled around the US.

The rooms were lovely - great beds, pillows & duvets and the bathroom had a separate rainfall shower and bath with Aveda products. There was free wireless internet, complimentary bottled water and the hotel also had a complimentary shuttle to take you to and from the Cherry Creek shopping mall whenever you wanted.

I've stayed in places such as the Park Hyatt in Tokyo, Oberoi in Ranthambore and Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok which are more exclusive but this hotel is just as good in terms of value for money. It's a wonderful place and I'm looking forward to going back in a few days.

Highly recommended.

The Hotel Teatro is a "boutique" hotel right adjacent to the Theater District in Denver, and only about 2-3 blocks walking distance to the Colorado Convention Center- and has to be one of the single best hotels I've ever stayed in for the price point.

The staff was exceptionally polite and service was outstanding in every respect, right from the moment I got there. Truly a five-star hotel in a small package. Not only do they remember your name when they see you later, but they almost go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied.

The rooms are beautifully appointed and top-class... pillow-top mattresses, soft linens, HD flat-screen TV, free wireless internet, and the Superior room I was in was HUGE with a couch, two chairs, and a coffee table to boot. Bath amenities are also remarkable- thick terry robes, marble countertops (double sink!) and glass shower stall (with a rainshower head and handheld head), deep soaking tub, Aveda products... but best of all, the room was QUIET! The hotel was full but you'd hardly know it.

Plus, incredible dining and entertainment are within a couple of blocks walk.

I HEARTILY recommend Hotel Teatro as my only choice to stay in Downtown Denver!
