We live outside of Denver and wanted to celebrate and chose this hotel because of it's location & reputation. We had a wonderful time! We had a Queen/Queen and while it was only on the 3rd floor & we didn't have much of a view, we did have a corner room which was very nice. The rooms look just as they do in the photos. The beds were comforatable although a little softer than I prefer but I don't think others would think the beds were soft. If you can, eat at Restaurant Kevin Taylor, that was fantastic, definitely Denver's best restaurant. The service was wonderful. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about our needs. The bathroom was very nice except I'm not personally a fan of the rain shower head in the ceiling but there was a side spray shower so it was fine. Overall, this was a wonderful stay!

We stayed at the Hotel Teatro in July for 4 nights. The staff was fabulous and the housekeepers were excellent, yet discreet. We absolutely loved the perk of the black Cadillac Escalade service. They drove us where we wanted to go and then we called and they came and picked us up! Our standard room was beautiful, though a little on the small side. Not many storage drawers. The bathroom was really lovely with beautiful tile and rainshower showerhead, plus large soaking tub. The location was great--within walking distance of the museum, capitol, etc. We ate a nice dinner at Kevin Taylor just off the lobby, but really recommend the Palace Arms at the Brown Hotel.

Outstanding boutique hotel. Friendly courteous staff - from pulling up to check in - to our departure. They always seemed to be looking for ways to make our stay even better. Rooms are well-appointed with every amenity and a FABULOUS bathroom. Bed was exceptional. Breakfast menu had choices that made me want to return - and reasonably priced. Convenient walking distance to the best parts of Denver, and a shuttle available if you need a ride. A historic old building beautifully renovated - decor everywhere is well done. This belongs in the top of the boutique hotels!

One of my best hotel experiences ever. Gorgeous boutique hotel with outstanding service. Arrived late and tired only to find my laptop had died on the plane because of some water spillage. Walked into business office to try to get some online help and was obviously exasperated because I was quickly joined by the hotel GM who asked me what was wrong. After I told him he made a few calls and arranged for a Denver techie to come early the next morning to look at my computer. Totally calmed me down with that AND with a free glass of wine. Next morning techie came, did his thing, and no one would let me pay for a thing. All in all the service I received for the stay was worth more than what I paid in the hotel. Absolutely crazily friendly and go-out-of-your way service. Plus great food in the restaurant and a wonderful room. Can't recommend this place more.

Hotel Teatro is a boutique hotel adjacent to Denver's Center for the Performing Arts. Although my husband and I reside in Denver, we recently reserved a junior suite via the hotel's website to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was sold out on both Friday and Saturday nights, so we decided to stay just Sunday night.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the lovely and spacious 8th floor apartment. It included a kitchenette (w/expresso & coffee maker), king bed in a sleeping alcove, entertainment area w/music and movie DVD's; and small bathroom--all beautifully decorated. The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking. Although we could hear some elevator noise in the room, sleeping was not a problem. Trains COULD be heard, however, and better-insulated windows would prevent this.

We dined before the theater at Kevin Taylor's at the Opera (the Kevin Taylor Restaurant in the hotel is closed Sundays). The food was delicious and beautifully presented (appetizers were tuna and carpaccio and we both ate the duck). Unfortunately, restaurant service was average, at best.

The hotel's concierge was knowledgeable and courteous. The front desk resolved a mischarge problem promptly. Breakfast room service was delicious and timely (at prices typical of room service).

All in all, our stay was delightful and we look forward to returning. The upgrade to the apartment was REALLY special.
