Every time I've stayed here, I've had a great experience. The rooms are large, and very clean. The decor is elegant without being pretentious.

The service is unbelieveable. Anything you need, they will take care of it for you.

Parking is a bit expensirve ($21/day), but given that it's right downtown, it's tolerable.

The restaurant is very nice. Great Bar.

I mean it - the Hotel Monaco Denver is my favorite hotel EVER. My husband and I stayed in a Mediterranean Suite for our wedding night three years ago and have returned for every anniversary since. The staff is courteous and professional, the rooms are BEAUTIFUL, the bath tubs are huge and room service is delicious. On top of those things are the little touches that make a hotel that much more special, like the gold fish that can be sent to your room if you're lonely. Because we visit for big celebration weekends, I haven't seen the regular guest rooms, but the Mediterranean Suite is magnificent. You won't be disappointed!

We just returned from a two day get-away at the Monaco. What a marvelous experience! The staff was exceptionally friendly, especially the bellstaff and front desk staff. We ordered room service a number of times and the food was both hot and delicious. I loved the room design - funky and cheerful. The evening wine hour was very pleasant - while Lily wasn't in, the sweetheart of an Italian Greyhound made everyone smile. The bed was amazing - best hotel bed I've ever experienced. My one (minor) quibble is that the concierge did not return my call in response to questions about the pet policy. And one final note -it was lovely to be in a gay friendly hotel - narry a blink at one king bed for two women!

We stayed at the Monaco since we were seeing a show at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and didn't want to drive home afterwards. Parking is a real challenge unless you use valet ($21). The hotel was really cool although our room was right next to the elevator shaft so we heard that throughout the night. The front desk clerk had an "oh well" attitude when we mentioned it the next morning. The food at Panzano's was awesome albeit a bit pricey. We tried to get a cab to the show since it was snowing but had little luck and ended up walking.
We'd return...

Stayed the night on New Years Eve...enjoyed the room and really thought the bed to be very comfy compared to most hotels. However the front desk didn't seem to have a clue as to what was being offered for the night and being a pet friendly place we wanted the fish bowl in our room and we had to ask for a fish three times. Little pricey but the room and our view was worth it.
