This is a lovely hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. If you don't feel like walking everywhere (which is a great way to get around) it's just a block off the 16th Street Mall shuttle. The lobby is my favorite! The high, ornate ceiling and large, warm space make it incredibly inviting. From 5-6 the hotel serves complimentary wine, hot apple cider (with or without bourbon), and hors d'oeuvres. There's also free chair massage during that time. The rooms are small with tall ceilings and VERY comfortable beds. The staff is very, very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is known for its pet friendly environment and it was fun to have other guests' dogs hanging around with us while we enjoyed time in the lobby. Panzano's, the restaurant in one corner of the hotel, is just as nice. We had dinner and breakfast with wonderful food and attentive service.
