We had a great time here. Since we were flying back home from Denver, we added one night hotel stay after our Thanksgiving visit to friends and family. The staff were wonderful. We have two small boys and they were treated nicely too. It was lovely having a goldfish guest in our room.
The concierge and the luggage gentlemen were helpful in recommending restaurants for kids. We ended up going to the Spaghetti Factory, which was really perfect for the kids. (Not that the kids were perfectly behaved. At least we felt comfortable to deal with a tantrum there, what a big relief.)
There were plenty of couples at the hotel too, so I would recommend Hotel Monaco it for anyone. We loved the funky rooms, fun and stylish! Oh and the beds were very cozy.

Another exceptional property with Kimpton Hotels. The hotel staff is courteous, professional, have a great sense of humor and overall make you feel genuinely cared for. From the doorman to room service, this is a top notch property. The hotel staff directed us to some great local spots to check out before attending the Police concert. We came in from the concert rather late, and like many concert goers were ordering a late night snack. The kitchen was sold out of most items, yet, the gentleman whom I spoke with was more than creative in providing a cheese, cracker and grape plate which was just what we needed to top off a perfect night.

Major Kudos to this hotel and staff :)

I had a great experience at the Monaco Hotel. Our office is right round the corner so it was a perfect location plus you are close to 16th Street mall.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient.
The room was a good size for a business trip and it had great furnishings.
We ate at the hotel restaurant and had a good meal with great service.
I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Denver and wish to be centrally located.

This was our first time staying at The Hotel Monaco, and it is fair to say we were very satisfied. The Valet and front desk were extremley accomodating and friendly-- I actually felt like they were happy to see us! Fresh Chocolate Chip Cookies were offered as we checked in. The room and property-in-general were in excellent repair. The various ammenities offered in-room and on the premises were generous and/or reasonable. We have stayed at the Mariott, Hyatt, Red Lion and Westin in Denver-- and we definitley preferred this hotel. Very comfy beds too!

I stayed at Hotel Monaco from October 13 - October 17 in a king deluxe room (smoke free, pet free and very clean), the room was a decent size. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great, central location, just off the 16th Street Mall and within walking distance of the Convention centre, the State Capitol building etc.

I was lucky enough to find a great deal on the room at $139 per night
vs the $224 as posted on other sites. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My only problem was that there was a large space at the bottom of the door leading to the hallway which allowed a lot of light into the room. I had to put a towel under the door so that the light wouldn't bother me while I was trying to get to sleep.
