Terrible experience. The room was FILTHY! There were dead bugs on all the window sills, the room hadn't been properly dusted in months. There were two inches of dust, popcorn kernels, and garbage in the air conditioning vents. The bathtub wouldn't drain. We contacted the front desk about the filth and when nothing was resolved by the next day, we notified them again. We were then directed to the manager Marcus and he blew us off. He told us, "It can't be that bad." The garbage from housekeeping sat in the courtyard area for two days before it was picked up. This is an old facility. It needs some serious renovating. I have stayed at hotels that have a bigger hot tub than the swimming pool was there. I will have to say the breakfast was excellent as well as the complimentary shuttle downtown. I cannot recommend this facility at all. We ended up across the street at a Hampton Inn. Cheaper and brand new.

We were only able to stay one night at this hotel, but we all wished it had been longer.

The service is fantastic, the hotel is clean and modern, the views are fantastic and the staff bends over backwards to be of help. Example: When we were checking in a women with two small children was also registering. She had missed the cut off of the hospitality hour by about 15 minutes and was disappointed that she was going to have to go out to find a place for the children to eat. In the short time it took to register, a service person from the dining area went back and filled three plates from the left overs, covered them in plastic wrap and brought them to her on a tray. And they looked fantastic!

Also, when we were checking in I asked for a roll a way bed. By the time we had parked the car and gotten to our room, the bed was there! We just can't say enough and will stay here anytime we visit Denver.

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in May 2006 with my parents while my mother was being evaluated at National Jewish Medical and Research Center. While I would agree with some previous reviewers that the property could use some "sprucing up" outside - new paint, landscaping, etc., that is the ONLY negative I can express. The staff was wonderful, from the shuttle van drivers (a real plus for us) all the way to the general manager. Everything inside the hotel was clean, and the complimentary breakfast (every day) and light dinner (Mon-Thurs) were very satisfying. Our room was very comfortable, and we never had a request that was not met with a smile. The complimentary shuttle will take you anywhere downtown within 5 miles, and almost anything you could want to see or do in Denver is within that radius. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Denver for any reason.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two months back in 2001. I cannot say enough good things about it. We stayed in the two story suite, which was so huge. It was a great place to stay for an extended time, because it was about the same size as our apartment back home. The full kitchen was great. We also had a nice living room with a wood burning stove, an extra murphy bed downstairs, a dining room, a downstairs full bathroom, and an upstairs loft with a bedroom and a bathroom.

The breakfast was great, I loved the waffle maker. The dinner was also great. Staying there for so long, we came to know the staff. Every night at dinner, the bartender would make us our drinks before we even asked, and everyone was so friendly. After it warmed up in May, once a week they had dinner outside. This was the best part of the stay. They had themes, such as disco where they handed out disco ball necklaces, and the food was great bbq food. They also had a dj. It was really fun.

The location was great. As some people mentioned it isn't the best neighborhood, but we went to the Denny's up the street at 4 am a couple times since my husband worked nights and we were fine. It was very close to down town and the shuttle was also great. The pool was very nice, we were able to use it at night even when it was cold since it was heated.

If I had to go back to Denver again, I would stay here in a heart beat. It definately felt like home.
