Lots to like about this property.

The location is outstanding. The hotel is located just off of I-25 with very easy access to downtown Denver. Easy (and free!) parking which made getting luggage to the room a breeze.

For mid-week in a big city, we got a great rate.

We are Marriott Rewards Gold Members and this was the only hotel on the trip to recognize this fact. The manager left us a personal note in our room with water bottles and candy.

Breakfast was good. Nothing to write home about, but we got our fill each morning.

The property, frankly, could use a face lift. The interior and exterior could use a coat of paint. The room we stayed in, while very clean, had a lot of milage on it.

While this Residence Inn is not located in the actual downtown area, it more than makes up for it in its amenities. First of all, the breakfast was delicious and free. We had a choice of (fresh) scrambled eggs, sausage patties, toast, waffles, yogurt, hot cereal, fruit, orange/apple juice, coffee and assorted pastries. From 6pm to 7:30 pm, there is a complimentary happy hour on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. You can have a light meal (such as tacos or pasta) along with either a glass of wine or domestic, draft beer. If you need to do laundry, the front desk has complimentary Tide and bounce packets for guests. Also, free wi-fi on site. Our stay was very quiet and we received great service from all of the staff--especially from Brenda and George!

I got a great deal for this, well done to the folks at Expedia. It was easy to find and we had the weekend in Denver. Parking up and Check in was fine, and we ended up in a ground floor studio which was ample for our needs. Being an accessable room the bathroom was more like a wet room which was fun - especially when you forget.
Bed comfortable, room spotless and a well equipped kitchen and dining area. The breakfast was enough to start the day right. The only downfall is that breakfast, when busy is a free for all! There are about 40 covuers or so, not enough if 170 are staying and all decide to breakfast at once.
I must say that the shuttle service is excellent and the staff very helpful, if attending a game at the Coors Field they will drop you and pick you up from Union Station - very useful. It is about 15 minutes walk to 16th street there, but 20 back as uphill. This place reminded me of one of those blocks you get on an island somewhere. A good stay and would recommend if you want to stay just out of the centre, value for money and good facilities.

We stayed here for a few nights in March 09 and found it to be a very good hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice. We got a great deal on the bigger room through expedia.

The free breakfast was very good. The free shuttle bus was fantastic. We got dropped off near the 16th street mall and when we were ready to go back to the hotel we just phoned and the driver came to pick us up right outside the restaurant we had been to for dinner. They also dropped us off and picked us up from the hockey arena when we went to see a game.
