This is probably the best deal going for downtown Denver. It is easy access to and from the interstate, and yet still within minutes from seeing the Broncos play, going to the convention center, or watching a Nuggets game. The hotel shuttle can assist with getting you downtown, but does stop making runs around 11 PM or so. Considering the distance from the Denver airport to the downtown area, renting a car could be useful depending on your needs. Driving in Denver is fairly easy, although many of the lanes are very narrow compared to other big cities.
Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. The rooms are similar to all Residence Inns. Nice kitchen, lots of space, and a nice private bathroom area. I have stayed at this location a few times and always wonder why it is not more expensive or more crowded. Regardless, they give you a lot of value for the location and the service.
Internet service is ethernet, and can be a little fussy to hook up. But once it is running, it is very fast and dependable. If staying in the winter, the fireplace is very handy.
