I flew in town for a reunion with some of my girls from college and had the best stay at Jet. I was able to get ready in my hotel room and party the night away in the Lobby! This awesome little hotel is funky/chic! With super comfy beds! Right in the heart of Lodo, it was convenient to walk everywhere. I don't know what these other users are complaining about...The Jet Hotel is a fun place to stay and party! Thanks Jet!

I recommend this hotel to all of my friends that travel into Denver. I first stayed at Jet hotel a while back when I was just visiting friends in Denver, now I am a resident. It is about ten times cooler than any of the hotels in Downtown Denver (which is where you must be if you are young and adventurous). It has a very unique feel to it, and it is not the kind of hotel that has two beds and a crappy TV stuffed in an armoire. The decor is fresh and contemporary, and the technology in good; each room comes with Ipod Docks and Flat Screens. I have stayed there twice and one of the times my room had an amazing balcony. Also, the icing on the cake: the hotel lobby serves as a bar/lounge in the evenings, and it fills up most nights! Oh ya and also I am not sure if he still hangs out there, but one of the owners is this super-hot Irish guy with a real clever accent.

Wouldn't Take My Reservation

I was unable to book a reservation here after an employee at the front desk told me he was training a new employee, but if I called back after 3pm he could help me then (but I could go online). Since I was booking multiple rooms for my colleague and I, I was trying to avoid the hassle of doing it online, but I said, "Okay."

I wasn't able to book the reservation online for an unknown reason so I called back. The employee told me there was nothing he could do, that he was still training the new employee, in fact, both he and his manager were training him so there was nobody to help me.

I asked, "Are you telling me you're more concerned with training a new employee than booking a reservation?" Thinking it's odd, I've never had ANY hotel of ANY kind turn away business because one hourly employee is training another hourly employee...

The employee was silent. I asked again to which he responded that he wasn't going to answer me with that kind of attitude/"tone" in my voice. Was I pissed off? Yes. Did I have a "tone"? I'm sure I did... I was in shock that a hotel was turning down my business not because they were overbooked but because they were too busy training a NEW employee??? Are you kidding?!

I asked to speak to his manager (who he said was right there), I was put on hold, then hung up on.

So I called back... nobody answered. I called again... nobody answered. I waited. 10 min. I called back and the same employee answered, I immediately asked to speak to his manager. Was put on hold, and then told that his manager was in a meeting and couldn't speak to me.

In conclusion: I was essentially "blocked" from making a reservation (when I really wanted to stay there based on other reviews), was talked back to, treated rudely, hung up on, and lied to.

Not a good experience, needless to stay, I won't be staying there.

I (like you) have stayed in maybe hundreds of hotels. This place is worse than the Drury Inn next to the highway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. When we stayed here for a Broncos game in October, the place was a ghost town. We stayed in two rooms (including the penthouse on the top floor). It's decorated like a Boise, Idaho dance club. The service is terrible, and it's filthy.

Keep looking. Seriously.

The place looks nice on the surface, but at $300 a night I expected more. I stayed 2 nights, and had no problems with the room - good sized with a separate seating/lounge area complete with loveseat and TV. One of the most comfortable beds I've had the pleasure of sleeping in in a long time (only bed better was at the Quorum in Tampa, FL). My largest problem was with the customer service--there wasn't any -- we got unprofessional attitude from the front desk staff (yeah dude, whatever.) who was more concerned about the sound system in the lobby bar than checking us in. At check-in we had to wait for our room for several hours (checked in at 3:30pm), got no help with the bags, there's no room service or continental breakfast, no concierge, no associated parking, and no gym or contract with a local gym. In comparison to my stay at the Oxford only half a block away there's no contest. For literally half the price I got all the Jet was lacking - and even a town car that would bring me to anywhere in the city within 2 miles of the hotel for free.

If given he choice I wouldn't recommend the Jet to anyone, there are nicer hotels within walking distance that actually have customer service.
