My first night was the worst as this was where I first got asked for ‘candy’ by a customer (this kept happening) who I advised that there was a garage nearby - later I found out that ‘candy’ was in fact ‘hard drugs’. I stayed 7 days in a row and witnessed several events that have thoroughly shocked me and stopped my company booking with ANY Ramada ‘hotel’ in the future. Throughout my stay I kept getting asked for hard drugs, experienced intimidation while walking to my hotel room and also witnessed someone complaining about blood on their bed sheets and in their bathroom (these are just several examples).

Staying in this hotel is comparable to walking through your local rough street - but having to stay there for longer than you feel comfortable.

If you are looking for a place with no air conditioning, no water pressure and sometimes no water, holes in the wall, FILTHY carpets, broken toilets, no ice, a REEKING "fitness room", a snotty manager, no communication between staff, and crappy service, then this is the place for you!

Needless to say, I will NEVER stay in any Ramada again!

Hotwire, another disaster of an experience, booked the rooms and while the Ramada staff's hands were tied over that, the hotel itself was just a complete dump. Even when we were finally moved to a different part of the hotel, the unpleasant surprises continued. Don't be fooled into thinking that the "hotel" part is any better than the "motel" part; it's all the same substandard level of "who cares?".

Filthy, hot, stinky (even in the non-smoking rooms), this place needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

This hotel is ok to stay at if you just want a place to crash and don't want to
spend much money. Set your expectations at that level and you will be satisfied.

Otherwise, here was our experience:
Showed up at the hotel and the reservation was wrong. Instead of 2 rooms each w/king bed
they gave us 2 rooms each w/2 queens.
Took the slow elevator (take the stairs, it's way faster) up to the musty hallway.
Wireless worked great until I discovered the wall outlet did not work so the laptop battery
ran out.
The heat/ac control did not work. The room was super hot so wanted to go for a swim but
the pool was closed all weekend: tile work they said.
At night the room was so hot I almost passed out.
The shower worked great.
Went down to breakfast looking for a good hot bfast but they said the person in charge of that
did not show up, so settled for instant oatmeal and dry toast (no jelly or peanut butter available).
The fridge in the room was a plus.
Staff was helpful but continually apologetic over the things that didn't work or weren't available.
In the end, the price was much, much lower than surrounding hotels but there's a reason for it.
So stay here if you just want a place to sleep and save some money, don't expect much from the
listed amenities. Anything that actually works or is available consider it a bonus.

This is a very good choice if you need a place close to Pepsi Center or Convention Center. I would guess that it would serve you well also if you are going to Coors or Mile High. The room was updated and nicer than I would expect for this price ($80). The hotel is also pet-friendly, which is a must for me and my two dogs. The hotel offers some kind of shuttle service, but the weather was nice and I walked the 1.6 miles to downtown and the Convention Center. There is a fine sidewalk all the way, and you have some really interesting sites (Mile High, Elitch Park, Pepsi Center) on the way. I will definitely stay there again when I have downtown Denver events to attend.

Ditto on the previous reviews here on Trip Advisor. Front desk personnel were friendly, and tried to be helpful, but it is obvious that the hotel's management just doesn't care. For 4 nights, I had no Internet service, and was told to go to the breakfast bar (where, incidentally only 2 of 4 ports worked). Day 1 excuse: Cable TV company's fault. Day 2 excuse: my room's outlet needs to be rewired.... maintenance scheduled to fix it. Day 3 excuse: yesterday's maintenance guy was pulled off to another job. Day 4: Believe it or not, the front desk offered to give me a 15-wire RJ-45 outlet plate, and told me to re-install the connection in my room myself. OK, besides the Internet problem, the rooms are dumpy, my room wasn't visited by the maid staff 2 of 4 days,.....other than alll this, it was a delight (NOT!!!). Avoid at all costs, or beware.
