I just got back home from a stay in Denver at the Adagio B&B and wanted to leave some feedback.

I had a really, really nice stay at the B&B. Thoroughly enjoyed talking to Helen, the proprietor, a super nice lady who did a lot for me while I was there. In addition to lending me her ear and sharing with me her stories on how she came to Denver, she also offered me her vehicle for a quick trip, faxed some documents for me and allowed me the use of my comfy room for several hours AFTER check-out time. Also enjoyed the conversations I shared with one of her employees, gentleman by the name of Matthew, who was also very helpful and happens to have a great sense of humor.

Breakfasts were yummy good.

Would definitely stay there again.

We stay in B&Bs to enjoy the company of fellow travelers and the hospitality of the innkeepers. The company was fine; the personal attention was lacking. Despite arriving on time, we waited out front to check in because the front door was locked. The room was fine, the location pleasant, but we definitely did not feel as welcome as we have in other B&Bs. We sat in the parlor for a while in the evening, but if there was a "social hour", it wasn't apparent to us. We didn't see any innkeepers from the moment we checked in until breakfast the next morning. We'll try another B&B the next time we're in Denver.

Adagio is a fabulous mansion in a walkable, leafy neighborhood, near the Botanical Gardens, and near enough to downtown. Helen is a generous host and good cook.

The Adagio is a beautiful old Victorian very convenient to downtown. The house is quite large and beautifully decorated, and Helen is both a great hostess (even allowing me to use her personal office computer) and a wonderful cook. There is a nice front porch with a swing and a lovely backyard garden area, where we ate breakfast. I only regret I could not spend more time at the Adagio - I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Denver!

Wonderful place to stay in such a big, busy city as Denver. We enjoyed being able to explore Denver and then come back and relax in a smaller more intimate atmosphere rather than a large inpersonal hotel, etc. The Adagio was very, very nice. Beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and exquisite breakfasts. We slept well and enjoyed some of the other guests. The location was good for our purposes. We would definately stay here again.
