Lovely period house in a convenient location. Breakfast is served 'family style' around one large table which made for great conversations with other guests. The hosts were friendly and very helpful.

The good was that the rooms were big, the towels new, the bed great, the food was good, the owner Helen was nice.
The bad was the neighborhood and the parking.
The house is next to a Walgreens parking lot, and you hear
kids screaming, blasting their radios etc at night.
Their parking lot holds 2 CARS !!!
We had to park on the street, and the house is one block
away from a big street, that has a lot of run down businesses, and scary people. I kept checking out the window if our
car was still there or broken into.

  • Liked — Close to downtown attractions
  • Disliked — Fear of the neighborhood

My wife and I stayed at the Adagio and had a wonderful experience. The room we stayed in was wonderful and we had a sneek peek at the other rooms which are all of a high standard. Breakfast is an experience and not just a meal with meeting other guests and chatting away.
Helen and her staff got our holiday off to a great start.
My wife and used to walk downtown which is about 2 miles away - this is a British thing as we walk almost everywhere.
We would stay here again most certainly.

What a wonderful experience. Helen was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was 1st class, the room was very clean and very classy. It was a relaxing way to start our holiday after a long day of travel. We found the Adagio over the internet and read other reviews. We hope our comments help you make the right choice and you too select the Adagio for your vacation. Thanks again Helen.

The Adagio is a lovely old Victorian period building, just off East Colfax Avenue. This is where my husband and I got married. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome, it felt like being home from home. Carla, Sean and Helen were lovely, they made our stay there special and arranged our wedding for us. We loved our accomodation, we stayed in both the Handel and Vivaldi Suites both very comfortable. The food was great, nothing was too much trouble for Carla. I would definately recommend staying at the Adagio BB. We left having made good friends and in all honesty did not want to go home. It is within walking distance to Denver Zoo, 16th Street Mall (downtown Denver) and Cherry Creak Shopping Mall for those travellers who are not driving whilst staying there.

  • Liked — I loved the spacious comfortable rooms, clean bed clothes and en suite bathroom
  • Disliked — Nothing
