The Adagio is a lovely old Victorian period building, just off East Colfax Avenue. This is where my husband and I got married. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome, it felt like being home from home. Carla, Sean and Helen were lovely, they made our stay there special and arranged our wedding for us. We loved our accomodation, we stayed in both the Handel and Vivaldi Suites both very comfortable. The food was great, nothing was too much trouble for Carla. I would definately recommend staying at the Adagio BB. We left having made good friends and in all honesty did not want to go home. It is within walking distance to Denver Zoo, 16th Street Mall (downtown Denver) and Cherry Creak Shopping Mall for those travellers who are not driving whilst staying there.

  • Liked — I loved the spacious comfortable rooms, clean bed clothes and en suite bathroom

My wife and I stayed at the Adagio a couple of days before Valentines Day and we really enjoyed the Copland Suite. We have stayed at the Adagio twice before, both in the Brahms room and purchased a stay for our friends on their wedding night in the Handel room, so as you can see, this is one of our favorite homes away from home since we live in the Denver metro area.

The Copland Suite is the only two room suite at the Adagio. One room is the living room area with a fireplace (was lit when we arrived), a comfortable couch and two chairs and satellite television. The second room is the bedroom with a huge king-size bed and a two person jacuzzi and a bathroom. This is a very romantic suite!

Helen is a wonderful host and we really enjoyed the time we had to talk with her at breakfast (we were the only people staying there that night). She has done a great job keeping the B&B in great shape! We love the house and all of the woodwork and even though it is located off of Colfax Avenue (not exactly the nicest part of town), you feel safe and the neighborhood is very quiet.

Carla was the gracious host who checked us in and made us feel at home. She made us a fantastic breakfast and we enjoyed getting to know her.

This is a wonderful place to stay whether you are visiting Denver or just need a night away from the kids like we often do. We highly recommend the Adagio to everyone and you'll love the feeling of being home that you get that you can't experience in a hotel room. We can't wait for our next stay!

I spent 2 days at Adagio Bed & Breakfast and it was very nice indeed.
The house is in English style, well furnished, tidy and very clean.
The rooms are large, bright and gently decorated.
The quality/price ratio is excellent.
It is not in downtown, but people can enjoy walking, take a taxi for 10 $ or take a bus easily.
The thing a guest can appreciate at most is the warm hospitality given by Carla, Sean and Helen, the people who welcome you when you arrive and take care of your stay.
The atmosfere is very friendly and the feeling at Adagio Bed & Breakfast will be: you are not very far away from home.

I just returned from Denver, CO, where I have attended as International attendee a conference downtown. I spent seven nights at
Adagio Bed and Breakfast and finding it a really nice and warm place.
I spent most of the day at Convention Center Downtown, but in the morning I found always Helen preparing wonderful breakfast for all the guestes. When getting down too early, employee Carla, was preparing breakfast even a bit earlier than regular breakfast time.

Adagio B&B is located in a magnificent Victorian architecture historical area, but the close Colfax Avenue, might be not really pleasant at night. It is 30-40 minutes walking distance from Denver Convention Center, and it was nice to walk through there in the morning. Other attractions in a few minutes walking distance are the Denver Botanical Garden on York Street, and the Cheesman Park behind it. On the North side of Colfax is the City park with the Denver Zoological Garden, and the Museum of Natural History. I arrived few days before the conference for recovering from Jet lag and I enjoyed walking to these parks and gardens.

Being an international traveller after check-out I waited for shuttle-bus taking me to DIA. It was more than 30 minutes late, then Helen the proprietor offered me a ride to airport. It was really nice
and helps to take my flight on-time.
