Wasn't expecting a lot, as some of the previous reviews were bad. I was very pleasantly surprised. Every staff member was jumping to attend to our needs. Every single employee was smiling, helpful, and pleasant. Haven't seen that anywhere for a while. The lobby is very nice. There were afternoon teas, warm home make cookies, ect. Our room was decent size. Very clean and fresh. Bed, mattress and bedding very nice, as you would expect. Wonderful bathroom with lots of vanity space. (All granite.) Great showerhead! Beautiful view out our window. Plenty of free parking. Free shuttle service to downtown and back. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good. The location isn't anything great at all, but I knew that when I booked. I was there to visit my daughter who lives nearby. So it was great for us. EASY on and off I-25. I couldn't believe the price. Very decent for a wonderful place. We usually pay much for for this type of place. We went on to another city, to a hotel priced much higher, that offered nothing. We were wishing we were still at Loew's. Once again, I want to say how kind, pleasant and attentive all the staff were. Will always stay there when going to Denver.

We were on a trip with 3 kids, we booked the hotel directly so that we could get 2 connecting rooms (1 suite connected to 1 premier room). With 3 children under 7, we need the connecting room and we got their confirmation when we booked (about 2 days before trip). When we got to the hotel, after a long trip from the Eastern coast, we were informed that unfortunately they did not have the connecting rooms for that night, but they would put us side by side or on 2 connecting simple connecting rooms. Connecting is simply extremely important for us, and also the extra space for the suite. We suspect they were trying to cancel our pricing, since we got a great deal. After about 45 min of "deliberations" - because we insisted on our reservation being honored, even if they had to give us the Presidential suite (available) - "magically" they found exactly what we booked being available (1 suite and 1 connecting room). My kids were exausted waiting by the lobby. It was all in all a ridiculous experience and the check=in people were clearly very junior.
Apart from that, the room was ok and food surprisingly good.Very clean.

By the way, everyone says great things about the JWMarriott. That was our first choice, but they were booked on our dates.

Very good considering the rate under 100$ per night. In addition during winter if you stay 2 nights you get a 50$ voucher for meals or drinks. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, parking is free!

Easy to find...just north of Colorado Blvd. Breakfast cost is between 10 and 15$. Internet access is 12$ per day but free in the business center. HD TV with excellent choice of HD channels + latest HD movies ( a la carte).

Overall satisfying!

The hotel was quite easy to find off of I25 and check-in was very smooth. The room was clean and comfortable with a window towards the mountians. Our room DID have a shower/tub as opposed to what you may read in other reviews. I was with my wife & 20 month-old daughter and my daughter's crib was set up in the room upon arrival. They also provided baby body wash and shampoo, a lullaby cd (cd player was already in the room) and several other perks geared towards making a stay with a child more comfortable.

As you will read in other reviews, the one thing I found that made this stay a good experience is the service from the staff. Time and again I was impressed with the assistance and quality information provided by everyone - front desk staff, concierge, housekeeping, shuttle driver, bellmen. The level of service at this hotel is as good as any other hotel I've visited regardless of price or ratings.

It is true the hotel may not be in the most prime downtown location (and, no, I wouldn't want to take a stroll around the area at night). Any problem you think this may pose is resolved by the free shuttle service. The shuttle runs anywhere in a 6 mile radius which includes all around the downtown areas you will likely want to visit like 16th Street Mall, Larimer Square, Coors Field, etc. We took the shuttle to one of our favorite restaurants the first night, enjoyed dinner, some drinks and a nice walk around downtown before ringing the shuttle driver on his cell phone. 10 minutes later we were on the shuttle back to the hotel - no worries about a few drinks, getting lost or any other hassle associated with driving downtown Denver. An excellent plus! Our shuttle driver was a great source of information on area restaurants and services, too.

I only ate one meal in the hotel restaurant - breakfast on the first morning - and it was good. There were only a few other occupied tables at the time I visited the restaurant and service was prompt.

Overall, the hotel is a good choice for those looking to stay around the downtown Denver area. The hotel rooms are not really different from any I've experienced in Denver but the service was way above average. Taking into account that high level of service and the shuttle service, I would not hesitate to give this hotel a try. I plan to book a return visit for this summer and take the shuttle to Coors field for some baseball games!
