“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

I've driven by the interesting looking building that says Loews Denver many times and thought I would give it a try. When I arrived at the building it turns out that it was an office building and Loews is actually a plain box shaped building next door. Upon arrival, I requested a King bed but was denied as they claimed to be sold out.The parking lot was about 1/3 full and there weren't many guests about.Because I booked the room through Hotwire, they gave me a room in front of the elevator with 2 small beds. The carpet in the room was stained all over. They charge you for wifi if you want to use it in your room. Really? What next, charging for heat? There are better options nearby for less money.

“A sinking ship”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013 via mobile

This use to be one of my favorite places to stay.... But over the last year it has continued to go down hill. It needs updating and a staff that understands costumer service.
I called and specifically ask for a king room, but when I checked in was told only double available . The desk clerk was very condescending in his apology. After checking in I attempted to
purchase a movie .... I couldn't get the remote to work.... Called desk...said they would send someone to fix it. No one showed. I called the desk again.... They said they would be up shortly . I waited 20 minutes then called the desk again and told him to forget it I was going to bed since it was taking so long.
The next morning when I left for the day I complained at the desk and once again ask that it be fixed . When I returned that evening I once again tried to rent a movie... 5 minutes into it it shut off. I called the desk and explained and once again I was treated with a lack of concern. This use to be a higher quality hotel .

“Not worth it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

I've stayed at this hotel twice. Once by choice, and once for business.

This hotel is not as close to the "action" as I thought it was. The rooms are okay, but really could use an update. Also, waited forever for the hotel car to take me to a work function, and then was told the car was full....ended up having to call a cab.

The time when I went with my husband, I was carrying my wedding dress and a ton of things in my hands. Went to check in, and because the reservation was under his name, they wouldn't let me check in until he had parked the car and come in...by that time my arm was about to fall off!

Probably wouldn't stay here again.

“Good hotel, nice rooms, slightly out of town.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of our Honeymoon (we were given complimentary Champagne and Strawberries, a nice surprise). We had booked through a travel agent and advised that the hotel was close/in the centre of Denver - it is not, but we can not blame the Loews for this. The hotel is very pleasant, the room was of a good size and standard - we stayed in a deluxe room with views out over the Rockies. The staff were very pleasant and friendly - if you need help or advice then Aaron on the concierge desk is very good - we found him to be very useful during the stay. We ate in the Bar the first evening and the food was good and the service was decent, although pricing was a bit high. The hotel offer a free shuttle service into the centre and to other attractions within reason and will collect you, which made the location less of an issue. If you want to stay out of town at a nice hotel, then you cant go wrong with the Loews.

“A great Tuscan Oasis for Business Travelers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

I often stay here on business trips to Denver. A luxury feel and attentive staff makes this worth the drive from the downtown area, You must have a car to get around. The Tuscany Restaurant is excellent, the food is wonderful and served in an interesting setting with old European style quite rare for the area.
