“Not worth it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

I've stayed at this hotel twice. Once by choice, and once for business.

This hotel is not as close to the "action" as I thought it was. The rooms are okay, but really could use an update. Also, waited forever for the hotel car to take me to a work function, and then was told the car was full....ended up having to call a cab.

The time when I went with my husband, I was carrying my wedding dress and a ton of things in my hands. Went to check in, and because the reservation was under his name, they wouldn't let me check in until he had parked the car and come in...by that time my arm was about to fall off!

Probably wouldn't stay here again.

“Good hotel, nice rooms, slightly out of town.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of our Honeymoon (we were given complimentary Champagne and Strawberries, a nice surprise). We had booked through a travel agent and advised that the hotel was close/in the centre of Denver - it is not, but we can not blame the Loews for this. The hotel is very pleasant, the room was of a good size and standard - we stayed in a deluxe room with views out over the Rockies. The staff were very pleasant and friendly - if you need help or advice then Aaron on the concierge desk is very good - we found him to be very useful during the stay. We ate in the Bar the first evening and the food was good and the service was decent, although pricing was a bit high. The hotel offer a free shuttle service into the centre and to other attractions within reason and will collect you, which made the location less of an issue. If you want to stay out of town at a nice hotel, then you cant go wrong with the Loews.

“A great Tuscan Oasis for Business Travelers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

I often stay here on business trips to Denver. A luxury feel and attentive staff makes this worth the drive from the downtown area, You must have a car to get around. The Tuscany Restaurant is excellent, the food is wonderful and served in an interesting setting with old European style quite rare for the area.

“Good if you have a Car”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

I had a very good stay at this property and would recommend it...with some caveats.

First off, the property itself is an older hotel that's been renovated. Rather than going for the "ultra mod" look that seems to be everywhere in hotel lobbies, they've gone for a "Tuscan antique" theme. It's kind of a nice change. I love the fireplace in the lobby and free coffee/hot cider.

Rooms are above average and it was actually QUIET in my room - the HVAC wasn't loud at all (a major pet peeve). Very comfortable peds, but "just ok" fiberfill pillows. I do appreciate the in room Keurig and quality bath toiletries.

Other plusses - super, super friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Minuses - it's in the middle of nowhere so it only makes sense to stay here if you have a car. They call it a "Cherry Creek" location but it's not walking distance to the Cherry Creek shopping area, though there is a free shuttle. Also, wifi isn't free - boo!

Bottom line - if you're in the area on business, it's a very good place to stay that won't break the bank.

“Great hotel. I'll be back, for sure.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed here 2 nights for work. It was very clean & spacious, the staff was friendly and the view was outstanding. The food in their restaurant was excellent and I even got a visit from the chef. No complaints whatsoever!
